Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I actually have access to all the spells I need right now - I can study my spellbook for 15 minutes to call in Scrying x2 (into my open L4 and L5 slots), Prying Eyes comes from my Runestaff of Divination (I'd sacrifice Greater Dimension Door), and Locate Object is one of my (spontaneous) beguiler spells. I don't see any particular reason to delay, right? I'm fine with resting if it suits the rest of the party, but I haven't really tapped deeply into my resources yet, and if we're going to rest anyway I might as well cast my spells first
Re familiars, one of my characters once had a pseudonatural penguin

Anyone know what bonus a spider familiar would give?
For that matter, what type of spider would a black widow be?

Sorry. Of course, cast as you will. I forgot those in my hopeful suggestion of fastforwarding.

It comes with a poisonous bite, no other benefit, iirc. I imagine Togo would not mind if you would bind a black widow as long as you don't change the mechanical characteristics of the standard spider familiar.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Unfortunately, I need to withdraw from this game.
Situations in my personal life are keeping me away from the boards and occupying my attention in such a way that I can no longer stay committed to any sort of ongoing games. I'm withdrawing from all of them, with apologies to the DM and other players.
Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with the previous argument or any other reason beyond my inability to participate. Sorry if this seems a bit back-and-forth on my part, I did not know in advance that anything was going to pull me away from the boards so completely.

I am sorry to hear about that.
Good luck with whatever is occupying you. Your nose and arrows will be missed .
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Good luck.
So, Togo, mind sending me the stats for a black widow familiar?

I can have a look. Um.. Autopsybiofeeder, where did you get the reference from? If there's nothing specific I guess I can work something out using the spider reference, and the viper familiar as a guide,

Just PMed the stats to you. I would also like to inform you that I will have a week of field work coming up. I will be back the 10th-ish. I hope to have Inet access, though, at some of the places I will be staying.
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
See you around.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Umm.. am I supposed to be talking on behalf of Saffron? Do we quietly airbrush her out, or giver her an excuse to stay in this room for the rest of the game?
Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I'd referenced her to give you a chance to write her out, either by having her stay, leave in a huff, or whatever you want. If you'd rather retroactive-continuity her out of existence, I'll delete my post.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
Ok, I 've shifted the scene to having going out with the wagon, to see what attacks you. I've described the rough situation, and what you've heard. Let me know what buffs you have running, if any, given that you will have been out for about an hour, and were planning to stay out for another hour or two.
Obrysi, autobiopsyfeeder, feel free to carry on your conversation in retrospect, but I wanted to get events moving.

Re: Togo's Planar Adventure set partly in Sigil (OOC)
I'll toss up another See Invisibility, since that lasts a touch over 3 hours. Aside from that, I think Umbriel just has her standard daylong buffs, unless anyone else wanted Freedom of Movement, Spiderskin, Heroics etc? Arcane Sight is definitely no longer active, and I'm guessing Share Talents has probably run out (lasts just over 3 hours).

Allright, since we are there on stakeout and seeing the last combat, Derk will have cast Flight of the Dragon (duration 2 hours and 20 minutes). Also, Greater Mighty Wallop, which is active 24/7.
Also I suggest me and Obrysii leave the conversation as is. All has been said that needed to be said and that will avoid some possible confusion.
