The delivery status for mine has been "in transit" since yesterday. I really wish I was home right now, or coming home tomorrow or the day after or the day after, but at least it will be waiting for me when I finally get there. Unless the post office messed up again this year and lost our request to hold all our mail, resulting in my book being out on the porch in the rain... well, we went and asked them in person this time instead of doing it online, so they can't blame anything on computer errors. I'm sure it'll be fine.
Sheriff of Moddingham: Another post removed from the thread. Please don't turn this into a pre-order vs. GenCon dispute. I explicitly requested that people drop that line of argument days ago.

I'll likely put something up later tonight, yes. Sort of like I did for SOD when it came out.
Yay, spoiler time! Too late to realize I should have pre-ordered it for a birthday gift though. Time to do a normal order! Might be the first normal one!

just got the email 2 hours ago. and since the warehouse is about 200 miles from my house, it shouldnt take too long to deliver. oh happy day. i need more cheese.
My life is cold and meaningless, a dreary fog of disappointment clouding all that is good and right in the world. My email hasn't come yet.

I just finished reading Dragon Tales and I would be happy to nerdgasm and gush about it spoil some things. The spoiler thread will be on this forum, right?
Preliminary: While the whole book is hilarious, there is a gag in the 4th Edition section that's pretty much worth buying the book for by itself. One thing is very notably missing in the Dragon excerpts, but since we paid for this maybe we can extort request the lost panel from The Giant via forum post?

My copy arrived today, and I cover-to-covered it as quickly as I could. I'll probably go through it again after I do the same thing with my copy of No Cure For the Paladin Blues that came with it. I am definitely happy with my purchase. However:

I second the call for this! I won't say more since this isn't the spoilers thread, but it seems strange to mention that there was an alternate panel for that comic, and then not include both versions.
The alternate "lost" panel is the one that is in the strip. I restored it to the way I intended it. The original had no speech balloon at all, and the character with the crown is pleasantly smiling rather than gloating.
I'll post the original that was published, but there's basically no joke in it.
Sweet, got my copy. Post office bent it almost in half trying to shove it into that tiny little space(instead of just putting it in a parcel locker >_>) but I can fix that. Now to get to reading.

Read read read the brand new materials! I need to work on my songwriting skills. *sigh*

Ah, thank you! That makes sense.

Unfortunately, I fully expect my copy to be one of the last ones to arrive, since I'm in the UK and thus on the wrong side of the water for quick delivery. That, and I still have had no transit email, so I'm definitely going to be among the last of the preorders. But then, I'm a quick reader.
Received the email saying it's being shipped, but when I checked the tracking website, it says that there's no info on it, not even the "Electronic Shipping Info Received". Hopefully it's on it's way and not lost somewhere. In any case, it'll probably get there before I do.

Mine arrived yesterday and it was hilarious. You don't have to be up-to-date reading the OOTS comic to enjoy it, and it doesn't contain any spoilers for the main comic. Definitely worth the price and the wait.

Apparently I'm still left in the dark since I ordered a copy of the game as well. I don't suppose anyone else that ordered the game has received a shipping email at this time?
Mine arrived today! Unfortunatly I don't know how to get in touch with my friend that I ordered a second copy for any longer. His phone doesn't work, the comic shop he worked for closed months ago and I don't know his address. I will try going to the local Discgolf course on Saturday and hope he shows. I hope everyone enjoys thier copy and that they arrive soon, admittedly "soon" when talking about overseas shipping is relative. Now to switch over to the spoiler thread.

I'm getting kind of nervous...A lot of people seem to be getting their books, but I've yet to get a shipping e-mail, nor a reply confirming that they took notice of the change of address e-mail I sent...

There are plenty of people who haven't yet got a shipping e-mail. Be patient--they have to go through thousands of books (I'm guessing, wouldn't have been economically viable to print less) and I doubt APE is a massive organisation!
