I'm not sure this is the right place to ask (not even sure if there is a place I should be asking), but Is it possible for someone to GITP-iffy my avatar?

you can ask that in arts and crafts would be the best place.

So it's getting down to almost only a week left until L.A. Noir starts, and we do need more people.
We have 18 people signed up right now with a cap of 40.
Please, everyone check it out through my link in my signature.
Thank you.

Quick question: Apart from the problem of not actually being able to predict the future accurately, does anyone think a WW based around ‘Future Diary’ could work?
We see a lot of wasted time in your future, that link is to TV Tropes.

I would think it could be done if it's well thought out enough.

They begin the game knowing each other, so they're villagers with a list of players that they know for a fact that are not wolves. Although they don't actually posses a special ability, they start with information, which is very valuable.

Depending on the Masons too. One of the most effective tools they have is as a voting bloc - since lynches are the only way to kill wolves. I've frequently seen "weak" masons that don't really know what to do though.

I would think being a mason also makes analysis easier, in that you have someone to bounce you theories off of. "Two heads are better than one" and all that.

I've heard of (but haven't actually seen) WWs where some people can get more than one role at once. Having a mason that is also a Seer is the most effective thing I can think of right now. You'd have a number of people to tell who you scry/what they are. Or a mason Baner.
Masons are less effective/not nice in games with recruitment, because when you become a wolf, you rat out the other masons.
So they can become more or less effective in different variants. They also become more or less effective depending on who's a mason, but whatever.
edit: The Matrix Rewound has been submitted for approval.

Yes, if it was well planned, and there were a few narrators to keep track of the possibilities, it could turn out pretty good. Anyone want to try to figure it out with ‘me’?

*sigh* you caught us, too many things are going on right now (here and IRL), for us to devote all our brain power to running it ourselves.

Sorry for being so inactive in the WW games I'm in, but my computer crashed one or two days ago, and I haven't got it fixed yet, so I may be inactive for a little while longer. I would prefer it if I wasn't auto lynched because of this though. (though from what I read from the rules for mafia, I'm going to have to spare the time to dump something in there or I WILL be auto lynched...)
It should be fixed soon, so I should be active again anytime now.

May as well do this now...
I'd like to reserve December 5th for St. Trinian's 2 WW. I've almost finished updating the rules, and hopefully it should be more balanced than last time.
I'll post the thread in a week or two, and I'll be looking for about 30 players if possible.

Re: Werewolf Central VIII: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Would there be any interest at all in me running the Baron Fatbelly Eating contest again? Not as a WW game, but how it used to be. I've got a few alterations in terms of new abilities and points build character creation, but the general game would be the same.
It's not a WW game, but I didn't really know anywhere else to ask. I think only a couple of people who played the early games still post at all (2007...jeez), so there's definitely a need to gauge interest so I know I'm not wasting my time planning it out. At least its been so long I could probably replay the first two games word for word and nobody would know.
