Dark, I don't mean to be a bother, but I have completed my Ascension Quest. May I recieve a Domain, or is there something else you'd like to see from me?
Yes, sorry. The Weaver gains the Dreams domain.

I think Lossethir is still lagging behind a little time-wise? The scene aboard the Green Morningstar is taking place about the same time he first dawned his coat, which puts him raising Celonechor many months forward in time from that scene. People are still free to encounter the floating island as it has no specified course.

Kasanip, Sonata is approved. If I could offer an opinion, Rain seems the broadest, most intrinsic domain to shoot for first, and in addition acts as a thematic bridge between the other two domains. Please, feel free to begin questing!

Hello, Kasanip! It seems you are a bit of a celebrity around here, and looking at your posts, for good reason!
Llassar's relationships with his siblings before the fall were rather sparse. He spent most of his time either avoiding work or cooking meals for the other deities. However, if Sonata is the goddess of the music, it's quite possible he may have made his preferred resting place wherever she was playing her flute.
Also, you have very nice art!
Thank you! It is embarrassing to think to be "celebrity." (Raz_Fox! It is your fault! (o_ _)ノ彡) I will try not to disappoint!

Thank you! And thank you for the opinion too!
It is interesting to suggest Rain is most intrinsic. But, there wasn't desire to make [nature deity] as the main theme. If it was thought that, probably then I should change starting Advantages of Sonata to [Divine Inspiration (Music), and Nature Affinity (Rain, Wolves, Foxes, etc.)]. But since the next attribute should be taken in Turn 1, maybe it would be better to see the outcome in the story. So, I will try to edit some of story to see if it can reflect this.
Part 1 is posted! I will try to edit everyday to make the posts quickly.

Well, Sonata is a really complex character. Rain could represent not only the wind and the rain that she commands, but also the wealth she brings to mortals. For farming societies, a good rain is one of the most precious things that can be given to them.
I think Dark's also worried that Wealth as a domain might be too limiting; Rain can encompass the treasure-giving and the beauty, but Wealth can't really encompass the rain and the storm as well.

I think the word we're looking for here is "bounty".
Rain doesn't have measure in terms of money but it can lead to a bountiful crop. A bounty can be a gift, a reward or a fee. It also helps if you think of it in terms like a "goddess of plenty" and followers receive of her bounty.
The first person to mention coconut and chocolate gets shot.

Bounty... yes, that is a word that works very well, don't you think, Dark, Kasanip?

...do you have a TLDNR version? >>
I kid, I kid. I'll get around to reading it eventually. <<
Let the record show that I am not an evil, vindictive or nasty sort but I did have an amusing thought on the way home from work today.
As Jongo so neatly puts it, Carolinus is being something of a grassblade. What would be amusing is if Jongo took this literally and turned Carolinus shining sword into a giant blade of grass, or whenever he swings it, he gets grass pollen up his nose and has hayfever for a month or two....
Also, I know its a little out of sequence but I'm going to have a chat with Dasque, apologising for Khalen's lack of accomodation at the moment, and possibly sneak in a line or two from Faden, as I know Jade is a little busy atm.

Jongo would never do that.
...too obvious.

Before you insult someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, you'll be a mile away, and have their shoes!
Perhaps instead have his boots filled up with grass blades that uncomfortably rub against his feet, and whenever he goes to look/dump them out they magically disappear only to reappear when put back on?

See? NOW that is much more amusing, and much less obvious. Plus, if it's soft grass, he might get used to it, and miss it when it's gone.
Oh, and welcome back, Tychris! We going to see more of Contragh soon?

Kasanip, where would you like Sonata to land?

Though Aerin is gone(?). And Rumel is now under DarkDM's control. Soreal hasn't posted in a while either
Just give me an idea of where you would like to be, and I'll get you added to the map!

Why thank you gengy. And yes Contragh will strike back with a fury (Albeit all these new posts, coupled with kassanip's, makes it intimidating. But I'll just ignore it). I feel like crap for kicking this thing around for so long, but the combined effort of a 500$ project, a musical, and banishment from Good technology made me wary of sitting down and doing it. I'll post up the third quarter of Contraghs ascension and work on finishing it tommorow (Hopefully).

Things have indeed been hectic, and I'm sorry the latest post was rushed, but I wanted to say that I am still keeping up with the OOC, and slightly less well with the IC.
The map is awesome.
I am *assuming* that Khalen got off of Pyra in Succubus's last post and went home, but if he didn't, I'll make edits. Just let me know.

* Cast flesh to stone on a annoying Druid
** Cast Rock to mud on a Druid statue
*** Scoop mud into little ceramic pots
**** Plant tree's in individual ceramic pots
***** Claim that I have helped them become one with nature
Meh. So long as people don't create TOO many new things, I can keep altering that pretty easily. Takes me less than a post does, if all I'm doing is moving stars and shapes around.
I admit, though... Celonechor took me a bit. Since the first time I did it, I forgot to read the description, lol. Re-read, and now there is a (not to scale) floating island of ice and mountains.
Also, Dark? That pun was pure gold.

It is true. I guess it must depend on TheDarkDM's award of domain after story. I will try to change some, but the story was already finished writing. I am translating and editing now. I think I will try to change the ending to make more [Rain] receiving.

To explain my thought, [Wealth] was chosen because 富 can mean such a thing. It seems other words in English are [Rich/Wealthy/Affluent]. But also it can be said this expression 「機知に富む」 [have a wealth of wit.] Being the theme of [trickster] character, it seemed good to have such a pun. Of course, it can be said 「センチメンタリズムに富んだ旋律」 [melody full of sentimentalism]. So, it supports theme of [Music] too.
It seems [Bounty] has the similar meaning to [Wealth]. I agree that this is a piece of Sonata. It seems to also talk about [Harvest], but there is already Tectonic_Robot's Llassar who has focus of this I think.
Of course, rain is connected to harvest, but I don't want to step on the toes of Tectonic_Robot, so I was going to try to avoid the [Harvest] theme. I am not a native English speaker, so it is better to trust Raz_Fox and The Succubus with such a thing.

Just give me an idea of where you would like to be, and I'll get you added to the map!
If it is no trouble, I would like to start in the center island, the down south east next to the mountain. Thank you for the hard work!
Of the map colors, is there meaning to the different green ones?
If by "different green ones", you mean different green stars, yes. Each green star is a different Player Character.
If by "different green ones", you mean different green land masses... I don't know. You would have to ask Dark. I swiped the basic map and added on to it.

I'm sorry for the confusion! I mean [different green land masses].
The color is meant to represent the general climate of an area (temperate to tropical for the dark green, temperate to cold for light green, arid in the tan regions, arctic in the blue ones). Aside from that, you're free to describe as you like.
Also, sorry, but the central island with all the mountains is kind of off limits unless you land further north, near the volcanoes.
