Differences Wanted: A more rounded boulder. The mentioned hair and leather pilot fatigues, including the goggles. The wheel shouldn't actually be there, I think it'd be funnier if it's invisible/imaginary.
Maybe some blades of grass around the boulder?
Instead of the smirk, a giant toothy smile.

Well, I once again find myself approaching Avatarists much more skilled than I in hopes that one will be interested enough in my proposal to make an avatar for me.
What I'm looking for is an avatar of an alien race from the Sword of the Stars games, a Morrigi.
Something like this.

What I'm looking for is something along the lines of the one on the left, kind of an armored look.
Really, I'd leave pretty much everything else up to the artist.

So I'd like to say that this Avatar is NOT going to replace my current one for a while. I'm going to stress that you should do anything you have/want/don't want to do before even considering this. :P

Something roughly like this (except, duh, not left-handed, and somewhat more competently than I am able to). Feel free to do a different composition, if that becomes easier. IME colours are also completely up to you, I just randomly went with something along the lines of V #624 and Elan #647. And there should be shoulders on the plate. Perhaps a wider gradient where the effects meet?

Since im starting a new DnD campaign i figured i would get a new avatar to represent my character, also whatever avatar i want to be on the character sheet. Its going to be a half orc fighter with bastard sword, only since the Dusk setting its going to be in is vaguely Greek he needs to be wearing something toga like. The only requirement i have is that he be wearing the bastard sword on his back. Also while im here if i could get a second version for the Nude Week that would be pretty cool.

I'd like to request an avatar based on my username (natch). Grod the Giant is an old favorite character of mine; a half-giant warrior. He looks... well, I've always seen him as looking a lot like Conan, only bigger. Black hair, normal skin, pretty bad 5 o'clock shadow, a lot of scars, a bare torso, and a broken sword in one hand would be awesome.
If an exchange is customary, I'd be happy to do a homebrew-request type thing for any artist kind enough to oblige me.

Since I need an avatar badly, does anybody think they could make me an avatar of my namesake? Giegue is the main villain of Mother/Earthbound Zero(and Mother 2/Earthbound as the formless, mindless Gyigas.) and I have a few reference pics below. I'd like him to be in a somewhat dynamic pose, hovering slightly off the ground and forming some kind of psi power or perhaps red and black energy(in reference to his mother 2 form, the infamous Giygas) in one of his hands, if at all possible. Other then that, feel free to do what you wish with it.

Pose: Facing forward in a low stance, Right hand extended in an open defensive palm (pointing up) Left drawn back into a fist ready to be used. A look caught between understanding and regret.
Based on a 3.5 character that i played over many campaigns (without ever dying) and took from 4-22 and greatly enjoyed doing so. Easily my all time favorite character played and brought enough awesome to the game that he has a cameo in a novel one of the other players in now writing (while waiting to find an appropriate and geographically suitable doctorate)

Hi, guys. I recently found this thread, and I would like an avatar as well, please. The specifics are as follows:
-Male human base
-Light red, scaly skin
-Dragon wings and dragon tail (in the style of a Red Dragon)
-Wearing a brown tunic
-Also, if possible, draw him breathing fire in a pose that you deem awesome. If breathing fire is too hard, any other awesome pose is equally accepted.

Seeing as how I'm about to graduate from medical school and finally be a real boy doctor, I thought it was time to update the ol' avatar that Qwernt made for me 3-4 years ago.
The theme is Barbarian, M.D. I'm looking for an OotS-style avatar, with a fairly straight-forward pose and no background. I particularly like that my current avatar is wearing a tie and white coat over a bare chest. I (terribly) added in a beard with MS Paint to Qwernt's original design, so don't blame him for that one.
If you go to Dr. McNinja, you'll see a very typical doctor in the top right corner (excepting the ninja gear...). The way the stethoscope drapes around the neck is spot on, though may be difficult to do well in such a small picture. (That's a stethoscope in the current avatar coming from his neck down his chest, by the way, so you can get a feel for what the other style of stethoscope-wear looks like)
I'd like a weapon to be included in the picture, perhaps some form of bludgeoning warhammer or greathammer. I could see it strapped across the back like my current one, but I'd prefer if the avatar were holding a giant hammer in one hand and had it resting on his shoulder at an angle towards the other side, and some sort of physician thing in the other hand, like a clip board or an otoscope (though that might be hard to depict in the avatar and still have any idea what it's supposed to be) or a syringe.
Oh, one other tweak. Med student coats come to thigh level. Doctor coats go down to the knees. I'd like a longer coat on my avatar (Oh, and the cut of the coat isn't curved, like mine currently is--it's squared off)
So, a somewhat specific request, though ultimately if you want to tackle the idea, tweak it to your own artistic sensibilites.
If anyone is willing to make it, I'd be very appreciative!

Male, early 20s. Blue jeans, a leather jacket, a cowboy hat, and a strange pair of metallic looking shoes. There is a handgun holstered at his left side. A metallic glint around the eyes, if possible without making it look bad.
I would just like if some magic-y effect could be added. Perhaps a helix of "magic" around the sword blade, and maybe some magic sphere or whatever in the outstretched hand?
EDIT: Ok, how's this?
I couldn't get the metallic glint around his eyes to look right so I left it off... it kept looking like he had a black eye when I tried. Changes are easy, though, so let me know if you want anything done differently.

Aww wow! That's amazing! It's hard to see because of the size of the avatar (curse you forum limitations!) but you got the eyes spot-on.
Just a few small changes that the perfectionist in my won't let me compromise:
1. Could you please make the gauntlets slightly bigger? Y'know, more gauntlet-y, and less glovelike.
2. Could you please make the ice ball smaller and more jagged? More like a compact ice crystal
3. Could you please make the slicked back hair flair out just a little to the sides, and the hair come up just a little at the top? I guess in my mind I was thinking more half slicked-back, not completely.
4. Finally, could you please make the sword (which looks absolutely bad ass, by the way) slightly lower, so his hand is resting on the pommel, or resting slightly above it? Also, if you could make some indication that the tip of the blade is resting in the ground, so it doesn't look like the avatar is breaking out of the avatar box, that would be awesome.
Again, thanks so much for doing this - I hope the changes aren't too much
