So who would best be able to join me on the "search team"

we would effectively be on scout duty, where if i give the signal we disappear into the crowd, or i use you as a diversion, or you follow behind me in case i get in trouble.

aiding another in sneaky deals will also be useful, as well as someone skilled in stuff like diplomacy or bluff

so what is our plan here? we need to do something awesome, yet practical.

and of course, its gonna have to be ridiculous.

i am thinking something along the lines of starting a huge fire, have our wizard-god-friend alert the other wizard of the conflagration, they solve it together, and then figure out a way to turn that into a party.

any ideas from the rest of the gang?
