This is allowed? Every day, bid my city vote for two days on every person, in addition to anything else I put on them.
If the city just gets one target and it's just voting who to aim for, it's probably next to worthless given you can still talk there and probably reach a consensus with your fellow city members. For votes to be worth much, they'd have to be in a situation where actual proper conflict is expected.
As for stuff you can bid, as far as I can gather, it's basically anything in game that may be of some use to you. Gold & items (of course), stat points, night actions, votes, ability to search threads. Maybe the ability to change locations, post or to use items or even your alignment, becoming unaligned and lose that possible victory condition. I haven't seen/checked about the last few and I couldn't see someone giving up a possible victory condition unless they were desperate but still. There's not really much point in hiding what it's possible to bid either, given that all the auctions are public. I don't envy Rasmus and Bladescape deciding what everything is worth.
Then we have silly, probably ignored but possibly legitimate bids like this one:
I bid two gold and ability to post everything except limericks in the main thread for the next two day phases on Xanmyral.

I bid my eternal soul, an alignment shift towards a direction the narrator wants, and half my gold, as well as the ability to talk in my town QT for 3 days. I'll add a bonus of talking in rhymes for 2 days. All for my dear Tasroth's belongings.

@Tom: Please remember to cross out your previous vote if you want to switch vote targets.
Edit 2: Also, Sapo, please don't do bids/searches/whatever in ways that are more work on us. Especially not when I specifically asked people not to do that earlier.
So, I have a question for you guys. Do you guys want the mechanics of the Vault challenges to be public? The reason we have it default to hidden is because it would give possibly usable information about people's stats. (We still wouldn't be saying X person had Y amount of Z.) However, I thought it was possible that you guys might not care about that and might want to see what stats are being used and how.

We'd be very interested to see partial (or complete) workings of the Vault, it would more then likely give us incentive to venture into it.

Bigger picture:
Sorry about not crossing out the old vote - I was intending to when I posted the new one but it must have slipped my mind.
I'd be interested in seeing the mechanics of how it works but providing a who beat who in what sort of contest could be a bit too much of a disincentive for people if they're each in 2+ competitions. The stat analysis would be interesting though because it would be much more useful than that from the lynch contests.

Outside the vault, most is quiet. All, rather, focusing too much on the vault to properly bring about death. Above, the Masked Man tuts in annoyance... Inside the vaut, however..
*******
Alarra, Ur-Quan, Vesth, and Szilard boldly march forth into the cavern. After a minute they see the cavern twist and warp before them. As they try and get their bearings they hear clicking noises against the stone. They each peer around a corner to see radscorpions patrolling with an eye out to fine trespassers.
Alarra and Ur-Quan decide to sneak past them, each choosing a different route but, knowing they must beat the other to the vault for the prize.
Vesth and Szilard take a different approach. They glance at each other briefly before running forward, each determined to outpace the other. Afterall they don't need to outrun the radscopions, just the other guy. Unfortunately for Vesth, he ends up being the other guy and gets fined by the radscorpions who clearly don't really get the idea and give him a few coins and send him on his way.
Szilard blows past Alarra and Ur-Quan as they simultaneously reach the doorway. They emerge into a small room that appears to be a small wooden shack. Inside they see the ugliest woman they've ever seen sitting in a chair facing the doorway, amidst a pile of assorted and varied junk. The woman says, "Dang adventurers! Let's see how you'd feel about people barging into your house to steal stuff!" She then points her arms dramatically at them. Oh no, she's an empath! Suddenly all three of them feel.....covered in scorpions! What the hell? That's not an emotion. (Anyone get this reference?)
Alarra, to her benefit, realizes this, shrugs it off as impossible, grabs something off the wall and walks off, head held high. Apparently she's proud of robbing people? Man, you guys are screwy.
Ur-Quan and Szilad freak out for a solid minute, each of them trying to out-freak out the other. Crazy flailing matched with horrible screams. Dramatic (but horrible) acting out how it really FEELS to be...covered in scorpions. Emotionally. In the end the woman gives Ur-Quan an 8 and Szilard 5. She lets them pick a prize at random out of a candy jar. They both get a small amount of gold coins and Ur-Quan also find himself holding a thing that he's pretty sure isn't a thing at all. Exhausted and (hopefully) confused the pair walks out, being what they hope is applauded by the radscorpions for the performance as they go. It involves a lot of pincer clicking at least

As long as you're not adding work we weren't asking for with what we set up (*coughstupiduneccessarymathcrapweaskedpeoplenotto doalreadycough*), it's actually nice when people take as much advantage of the work we put into making it. If people don't do crazy complicated stuff we made a crazy complicated game for nothing.

Yeah, there really are a lot of night actions flying around in this game, and a few day actions that also need attention, not to mention the lynching, searching, and bidding that takes place.
Edit: Oh gods, Bladescape didn't manage to hand out search results and of course this means people couldn't take advantage of stuff they didn't know they found and blargh. I guess I'll hand those out now with free theft protection on any money/items that were found in yesterday's search. (This is actually rather simple for me to do because Bladescape typically handles everything that has to do with the search so, I actually don't even have noted down yet anyone's winnings. So it just means I treat thefts as I would have had I forgotten about this anyway...and then just remember to give people their search stuff after. I'm sure nothing can go wrong here.)

Silence, then sound, a knocking on the door,
Echoing, bouncing, 'cross the lonely floor,
Stirring the throne of the man who kept vigil,
Disrupting the sleep of the guardian of Sigil.
'Who dares disturb my rest,
And you, on whose behest,
Knock once more,
On the door,
My patience you do test.'
'Oh, Guardian who stands so tall,
Come answer my knock, my call,
A dark, cold night,
The knife's death-sight,
And tonight you and Sigil fall.'
'Never,' the guardian stood, drawing blade,
As the shadow at the door began to fade,
The struggle began, the assassin's fight,
Blood spattered carpets at dawn's first light.
Both panted, endurance at its end,
But neither would break or bend,
Finally, blade wavered fast,
The guardian, alas, didn't last.
The assassin also, was found there,
As all studied with no little care,
The deadly wounds, of the maul'en,
For with the Guardian, Sigil had fallen.

There once was a yound man of leisure
Who had a great fondness for treasure
He entered the vault,
To start the assault
But his opponents all had his measure.
I think I'm number 5
