Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Well, it's a start I guess.
PirateMonk (x9/16) to billtodamax (x5/16) for now.
Also, time to start deciding whether we want to go after: the neutral claimant (Ramsus), the late-game power claimant (IF), the info-lite claimant (PirateMonk) or whatever bill claims. Time to sunset is roughly 22 hours by my count.

Elemental (down ta two)
That was not a typo, we just wanted to say 'ta'.
billtodamax (up to seven)

My vote's for the claimant you didn't mention, usourselves&we.
Piratemonk Billtodamax (8?) will do until then.

&we to billtodamax.
Supagoof, sorry if my post came rude or demanding. It certainly wasn't meant to. It was meant more as a "we can pressure supagoof for info but if there are lyrics I'd be sufficiently distracted to not really care".
*throws coin in hat as way of an apology and in response to the first lyrics*
As for who to actually lynch/suggest to the executioner, I'm leaning towards flea. I am suspicious of elemental though because he should know better than to post and not point after all the times we told him in inanimate.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
I'll just skip past the pressure on Bill, since there seems to be enough of that already and go straight to my actual lynch vote. Mine will go to Internet Flea (Piratemonk) Late game claim seems really convenient for someone hoping to survive combined with the fact that he's playing exactly like he did in Inanimate where everyone was a wolf is enough for a conviction, to me, especially when you add a strong gut read into the mix. But usourselves&we is also suspicious to me, though in a much less concrete way.

EDIT: It's also worth mentioning that we have more information role claims than I think we should...I'm pretty sure one of them at least is lying. And looking back at his post, I'd say it's usourselves&we I'd also say he seems more suspicious than Internet Flea after a second read of both posts.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
I'm pretty sure I played like this in the first Medieval too.
I want to hear from billtodamax still (has he said anything today?), and I'll cast my executioner vote toward Elemental for talking so much and saying so little. Considering how little time is left, I think the executioner might be the way to go today.
@Tom the Mime: I am deeply offended at your attempt to not offend people. ANGRY FACE!

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
I count two claims to have information. We KNOW there are two town roles that gain information (King and Necromancer), and we can assume at least one more. And &we didn't even really claim that, he made the same empty kind of statement Ramsus did.
I'm actually feeling better about &we.
And worse about The Grimmace.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Perhaps we should clarify, Grimmace, that it is information about our role, more then likely our role alone,
that we may or may not have at a later time.

The Great and Powerful Conjurer Bookboy scratches his head. Apparently these people really trust his die. This is the second person they've tried to kill with no evidence beyond the roll of a die.

Ah, thanks. I thought he had claimed (originally had him down for your claim) but didn't see on my quick re-read. Did a more in depth search and found it.
I don't think we should kill Grimmace or Elemental right now, mostly because we have no claim from them. Killing people you have little information on is usually not the best practice for town.
Note that we can always rectify that by pressuring them Tomorrow.
For executioner, if it comes to that, I'd vote for killing inactives. That allows us to focus on drawing information out of people who will at least respond during the day while still being able to keep pressure on inactive people.
If the number of inactives is too high, we won't get enough of a consensus to gain a lynch vote, which invokes the executioner. Self-balancing system.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Pirate monk
@Bookboy: The way the pressuring system works in blind games, Someone's target is pulled to the point of almost lynch, to get some info about their role, and then at the end of the day people lynch who they think is most suspicious.
Okay, so here's my thoughts on the current claims....
Ramsus, First to claim, from one vote no less, indicating that he was either neutral... or a role that we don't want to kill, like a bomb, I'm thinking the latter, Bombs in this game tend to be townside though, so I'm thinking he isn't a wolf.
Internet flea: Hum... Okay, let's see. He claimed he has a power-role useful in late game.... He could possibly be referring to seer, but unlikely.... Wait. He's likely refering to tombstone, so he's probably town, or wolf making a neatly done hint. I can't think of another power role useful only in late game.
Pirate monk: He's likely soft claiming Heir, or whatever the variant of heir is in number two. That role anyways, As he said 'moderately useful'. He could, of course, be referring to some other information gathering role, although...
This game is called 'Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers', so it's unlikely there are any more seer roles.
Usourselves&we, Well... he also claims to have info late in game, so I'll say this, Like I said before, there is only one such role... except if, of course, you're referring to the heir(Marauder, looked it up.), as they also have late game powers....
As so, I think that one of Pirate monk, &we and IF are wolves.
So I'm going to say &we As it took me quite a long time to find that small thing people are calling a claim, and it was incredibly vague.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
So far my suspects are
Elemental for lotsa chatter
The Grimmace for first point and gut
and now RuneBoundShade for suggesting the four claimants are all claiming listed roles.
But billtodamax has said nothing today. Not even to vote. That helps no one, and I don't see why the pressure on him is easing.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Day 1:
The servant made his way down the stairs towards the dungeon master’s chambers. The man known only as Mr. Giggles awaited, and the servant shivered in anticipation. One never knew what to expect from Mr. Giggles, and it was always scary to have to go down and see him. He might mistake you for one of his targets and lock you up for days, or use you for target practice, or kill you right there on the spot. The man was called Mr. Giggles for his chilling laughter. It was said that if you heard his maniacal laughter, it would haunt you for days. Even hearing the man from the upper floors left you with incredibly strange dreams.
Taking in a deep breath, the servant stuck the key into the wooden door. Hearing the lock click into place, he turned the knob. The door creaked open as the man entered inside. He lit the torch on the wall, calling softly to the man which made his home in the dungeons. Hearing no movement, he crept slowly past the manacled skeletons on the wall. Gasping, he finally saw Mr. Giggles.
There was blood everywhere. Mr. Giggles had been slain with his own knives. There were signs of a struggle, and there was evidence that the blood covering the floor was not just Mr. Giggles’. The servant shrieked in horror and ran back up the top of the stairs. “Guards! Guards! Mr. Giggles has been killed! We’re under attack! They’ve made it into the castle! Guards!”
The deceased man only smirked cruelly, his face locked in an eternal deathly grin.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
*clears throat* I would just like to politely tell the executioner that whoever he is, that they are an amazing douchenozzle that should take a nice relaxing acid bath after being force-fed a drano and razorblades cocktail.
(Note that this is meant as just a colorful display of, fully justified, murderous rage displeasure, and not as a personal attack.)
I'm really sick of immediately dying every time I don't have a stunningly boring role. Especially when I say (or heavily heavily imply at least) that I would like a chance to play the role I have. Unlike other, perhaps better, people here I do hold grudges, especially for things like senseless day 1 kills against the popular vote that nobody at all endorsed where there was no reasonable excuse for targeting me. Also I'm very petty so I'll make sure to repay the favor three times over just to make absolutely sure your cognizance of my displeasure sticks.
Edit: Also thanks, and I'm sure Penguinator thanks you as well, for potentially killing most of my interest in this series as I was invested in it mostly by the behind the scenes semi-rp I was doing in this and the previous game and now cannot do. For proof, just look at my character's name. So again, thanks for not letting me have even the slightest bit of fun with this for absolutely no reason.
Edit 2: Seriously, I would love to hear the excuse for not letting me play till even Day 2, when there were people who didn't say a word or even vote and a nomination for execution and one of them most people were already voting for.

Night 1:
The Rogue strode cautiously up the castle’s stairs. It had taken only a few moments to sneak into the dungeon and rid the world of the cruel Mr. Giggles. He wiped his blade on his sleeve, slipping it carefully into its sheath. He was cocky, if it had been this easy to get into the castle, how much harder would it be to go straight to the throne room? He had started to leave for the exit, but that thought was too delicious to pass up. He turned on his heel and began up another flight of stairs.
The King waited in his chamber. It had angered him greatly that Mr. Giggles had been slain in such a cruel manner. This cunning Rogue would have his vengeance. The Silent guard stood watching the King, never moving, never speaking.
Suddenly, a commotion could be heard outside. Guards were shouting, screams were heard. Then finally, the door to the throne room was thrown open. The Rogue strode in casually, wiping his blade on his sleeve.
“Well, I’m here.”
“Come here to mock me, have you?”
“Well I certainly didn’t come with the intention of leaving you alive.”
“Do you really think I would let you leave the castle alive?”
“Did you think I would let you leave the castle alive?”
The Corrupt King chuckled. “As arrogant as your father.” He nodded towards the silent bodyguard. “Take him.”
The Rogue grinned, then leapt out a window from the castle. The silent one stood by the window, looking down at the smiling killer, who only waved and ran off.
A guard came in, carrying a wounded soldier. “He came in, Sire, killing one guard and wounding this one.”
“Well, why are you showing him to me? Get him surgeons.”
“Yes, Sire.”
After the man left, the King glanced at his bodyguard. “Next time, he will not escape. Understood?”
The man only nodded, glaring out the window.

Okay then... I shall open the day to random accusations by pointing my finger at the giant orb of fire in the sky.

More serious suggestions will be entertained, of course.

Re: Medieval Werewolf II - Now With 50% Less Seers
Zar Peter woke up pretty early and wandered in the castle to get his breakfast. The castle was complete silent, there were no screams from the torture chamber and ne laughter from the meeting hall. The animals in the stable were snoring in the straw, and some of the knaves who didn't get to their beds did the same. In fact, Zar Peter didn't fetch breakfast, he snatched his diner, since the work as astronomer requires an unusual working frame. He was used to work in silence and sleep in noise but he thought that yesterday it was unusual silent during the day as well.
((OOC: Well, this is a blind game so we have to post to gather information. While I myself think it's hard to post on the first day and put one of my companions to the knife (I'm sorry it was Ramsus yesterday) but one of us has to go and I'd rather send this one to the gallows as vote from the masses than to let ONE decide who dies. Anyway, yesterday there were 6 people who didn't post ONCE! 6 people. I point at the first of the list but I would like to lynch the one (or more of them) who don't show up today.
The 6 people are:
Point at Grue Bait
(Point at) Bunny of Faith
(Point at) Gnomish Wanderer
(Point at) bladescape
(Point at) billtodamax
(Point at) Gray Mage
If any of them send an away notice pleas post in thread.
