I will soon (midMay) be coming into a swath of free time. Could I interest the group in adding a character or two and continuing with our exploits? I would try to DM in a light-hearted and creative style that befits our group.
I realized I responded to the PM but not here, so just want to let everyone know that yes, I would love to continue.
We would have a decently balanced party if Willian also kept on with us -- Striker, Leader, Defender, and Controller -- but I don't know if he is interested?
Were you planning on starting a recruitment thread?
Staying at level 5 or progressing / regressing?
Same storyline? Further a few weeks / months / years?
Just some curiosities that came to mind. Thanks again for your interest in continuing the epic -- I love all our characters :)

Do you guys have access/experience with GoogleDocs? I've previously run my games with Flash but players were unable to edit moves and such. With GoogleDocs, editable pictures can be used with databases to keep things on hand.
wow that's high-tech!
I generally post from my phone throughout the day, but can do so from my computer at night when I am home -- so it would put my combat posting at once a day (which I don't see as a problem)
I guess I'm trying to say that is awesome and it looks great.

I recently started my first pbp game that used Goggle Docs for maps and combat adjudication (here's the link, though I'm not sure if it's locked); seems to work pretty well IMO. It's nice to be able to post our rolls and immediately know the outcome (in most cases anyway) so we can edit the turn and keep things flowing without a lot of "if I hit, then X" stuff.
As for maps, my favourite option so far has been Pyromancers's Forum Scene Viewer. Super easy to set up even large-scale maps, generates an embeddable picture for each turn, custom avatars, built in auras, all that good stuff.
Take a look at maptool. I'm always stunned at how few people know about this thing. To be fair, though, unless you have a persistent server of some kind, Maptool doesn't work too well for PbP games.

I've used the MapTool and TokenTool in union with PhotoShop, but many websites are blocked by my job's firewall. That's why I like player editable sites.
So, how are we leveling our characters? Do we just set their XP to the bare minimum for a 6th level character? How should we deal with equipment and gold?

From the DMG: "You get one item of your level +1, one item of your level, and one item of your level -1. You also have go equal to the value of one magic item of your level -1"
So, you get a 7th lvl magic item, a 6th lvl magic item, a 5th lvl magic item, and 1000 gp to spend on whatever you want.
Viola bought Iron Armbands of Power for +2 dmg to melee dmg, and got the knife in the dark feat for +4 dmg to enemies within my cloud of darkness racial power.

Oh, that reminds me. Wolfen has a new encounter power called "Guide the Charge". Basically, if any of you are within 10 squares of me, charge at an enemy, and hit, you get to do +3 damage, push your target 2 squares, and shift 2 squares to stay with the target. I say it now, because there's no need to ask my permission before using it (sort of how I don't ask permission before ordering your guys to stab people).
Oh, and Cheesy, my Warlordy goodness gives you +2 to initiative whenever you're within 10 squares of me, and when you use an Action Point to attack, you get +1 attack and +3 damage.
