Yeah, you said. It's pretty okay. I'll listen to a bit more before I get it for myself. I'm not quite feeling it yet.

Oh hey.

Agalloch's new EP should be released sometime soon. Faustian Echoes. Should be awesome.

Also, I might have spent the whole of last night in a trance, listening to Wolves in the Throne Room.

You might like Skagos. Their split with Panopticon is my favorite of theirs, but Ást is also amazing. The Panopticon side of that split is delicious, too.

I cannot think of any way of conveying the answer YES enthusiastically enough. Besides, of course, answering with YES

Hell yes. Death are still, by far, my favorite Extreme Metal band, and one my favorite bands period. Their last four albums really are just absolutely fantastic.

I know of Panopticon at least. They're bloody awesome. I'll check Skagos out.

This is typically the kind of black metal I like.

On his 90th Birthday (27th of May 2012) [Christopher Lee] announced the release of his first Heavy Metal single "Let legend mark me as the King". The single is from his upcoming album "Charlemagne: The Omens of Death", signifying his move onto "full on" Heavy Metal. That makes him the oldest Heavy Metal performer in History.
As if we needed any more proof that Christopher Lee is ****ing metal.

Let's hope it's actually metal, unlike the last album he tried.

The "move onto full-on heavy metal" part gives me hope.

The album is also being arranged by Judas Priest's guitarist, so that sounds promising.

Collapse is one of the best albums of the past decade, seriously. Up there with Fas by Deathspell Omega. I own Collapse and On the Subject of Mortality... on vinyl and they're beautiful. Was my introduction to anarchist black metal too. Did you like the Skagos songs?
