Actually, Pyrite's mane is super neat and stylish, because he wants to be a guy who sells you things, and in his head, guys who sell you things look neat and crisp and stylish and have very white teeth. His bio even mentions he takes care with his mane and tail styling.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Starting tommorow I'll be out of town until Sunday, and I don't exactly know what the internet is like at my destination, so please take it easy and slow where I am for a bit, OK? Don't leave me too far behind.

Fair enough. To the edit button!
As for pacing, I'll pretty much be gone all of Saturday and Sunday too, so I don't think the foal party will progress much then anyway.

I like to think that further details for the contest involve that the themes of the amateur video have to be super heroes and heroics. That the contest is run by PC Comics, and aside from the 800 Bits money prize, that the characters featured in the film will get to appear in a one shot Wonderbolts comic.

So, what are we waiting for in the general RP? Is it a case of don't know what to post? Are we waiting for someone else who's likely waiting for the other person to post? (I know its likely the latter with a touch of the former )

I think we're waiting on Hawkflight in the Library. Sandy is waiting on what Gwyn does once she returns home.

Hey all. So, I was chatting with Thanqol, and since he's never coming back, he says that he's fine with other people taking up his characters. So we were wondering if anyone would be up for taking over Whitefire? I mean, Silvermane really misses her.

Is it just me, or has the RP slowed considerably? And if so, is this just a slow spell for everypony, or is there something we may need to think about changing/doing differently?

Re: [MLP FiM] Bridle Shores Out of character thread 6
I figure I may as well post my own thoughts to this, get a little discussion going.
I think what's happened is the pendulum has swung too far in the reverse direction. Previously, we burned through pages like cheap cigars, leaving those who couldn't keep up, well, left in the dust. After the timeskip, we agreed to not have any big, massive, overarching plots, and get more involvement from everypony. Only problem is, now the RP is moving at a comfortable speed for the more laid-back posters, and our speedier members are getting antsy.
(I'd like to say beforehand that I am absolutely NOT picking on anypony. Some ponies just can't post as often, and that's perfectly okay.)
For instance, Deme, you have characters involved in three of the major ongoing scenes. Nothing wrong with that, but what ends up happening is that since your ponies are involved everywhere, that means everypony has to hold to the same speed. And I know I feel frustrated when I can't post as often as I'd like to, but I also don't want to make more ponies for fear of forgetting one or giving myself too much to keep track of.
I think what we need here is a sort of mutual understanding between the two groups. We need scenes for the faster ponies, and scenes for more relaxed ponies. We need our faster posters to hang out in the slower scenes for a while, so that everypony is included and nopony is left behind, while at the same time, we need to have scenes available for folks who want to post 3, 4, or more times a day so they can get their RP fix. Basically, we need some love and tolerance all up in this place.
Thoughts? Both positive and negative, please correct me if I've misspoken anywhere.

Previously, it helped that we had a larger pool of PC to interact with as well. The FwM is chugging along nicely since we have a wider variety of characters. (Even then, it has also noticeably slowed down, though that is more to timeline confusion rather than waiting on others to post.)

Well if one wants to do some "fast" scenes with Fox Trot and non-time skip Gearstride, let me know, they're available.
Ya know, I thought with summer here, things would move just a *little* bit quicker, not 10+ posts a day quicker, but at least not 1 post every two days slower in some cases.
Re: [MLP FiM] Bridle Shores Out of character thread 6
It's also partially because our ponies have been kinda isolated to specific groups.
Let's take Mystic as an example. The only ponies she hangs out with on a regular basis or really even seems to know are Heartflight and and Scarlet/Sweet Dreams. Both Lix and Hawk seem to have trouble attending to the thread sometimes without specifically being poked to respond, so she really can't do much.
Smoothie is in a scene with a large amount of ponies, so even if I wanted to respond quickly, I couldn't without leaving others behind.
Soft is essentially in a bubble scene and will be retired soon, so she's irrelephant.
Eclaire I can't really think of much to do with. I'll think of something eventually.
