In this thread you can take a look at all of the avatars I've made in a single spot! You'll get to see my style and get a feel for the kind of avatars I can make and I enjoy!
I make all the avatars using Inkscape, spending roughly an hour or two on them. I think I tend to go towards a more simplistic and pure OotS style. I don't use a template when I create an avatar, I usually create everything from scratch, so that probably slows me down a bit.

An idea I came up with for North Ranger
Made for DEB as a Birth of Venus style, I don't like the eyes. I shoulda fixed that
CountAlucard got a mystic nude vampire. I was going to do two more poses for him but I didn't
Lix asked for a curtain and my mind went to a big red one
Ugh, I made this for Horngeek but it wasn't very good. Rae Artemi's was better
And finally my own, I went flirty but the details and positioning of the avatar was done poorly

I also greatly appreciate any constructive criticism or advice. I want to continue to improve and get better. I'm going to continue practicing, but I would really enjoy any critical examination of my work. Thank you!
I'm just going to say I think they're all excellent.
The only one I don't like is the Midna one, but that's because I have no idea who or what that is.
I'll leave the constructive criticism and/or advice to people who know what they're talking about.

I'm really really glad you liked them, Mauve. ^_^ I wish the more normal uniform on the right was more unique rather than basically just reusing your normal pose for the visual gag, but oh well. I'll probably rework it one day.

Follower of Set Alucard. The hieroglyphs spell Alucard
Assamite Alucard. Doesn't his outfit remind you of Luke Skywalker? I didn't realize I had done that
Lasombra Alucard. So charming, and cliched. I like the shadow effect a lot
Nosferatu Alucard. This was fun. Didn't spend hardly any time on the outfit though
Ventrue Alucard. The CEO. I love the glasses
Ravnos Alucard. Card-shark idea. Kinda cheesy but I like it anyway
Brujah Alucard. Punk-rock anarchist. Hell yeah!
Tremere Alucard. Probably my favorite suit from the bunch, and the hat came out very nicely.
Gangrel Alucard. Wild. It was the easiest to make for some reason.
Tzimisce Alucard. Took me a couple of attempts before I got this right. I love the hands. The mouth isn't creepy-big enough
Malkavian Alucard. Sooo crazy. My favorite to work on.

I wanted to stop by and tell you I think these are all great! You shouldn't be so hard on yourself for the earlier ones. You have so much more artistic talent in your mouse finger than I do in my entire body it's mind boggling! I really like them all, especially the cheeky/funny ones. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Haven't posted here in a month, and what a slow month it has been. This is the last of the June set, hopefully I'll be able to make some good ones for July. Thanks for the support, I draw for the satisfaction of the viewers. Though, I don't know how NOT to be hard on myself >.>

Elemental's Kelpie Demon-Horse! True Fact: I haven't tried to draw a horse for at least two years (possibly longer!)

I made an Ice Fisher version of North Ranger! The hole in the ice came out wonderfully, muey happy with that.
This is Tectonic's Sea-King merman that I drew and then used Inkscape magic to make it somewhat decent. Also known as the best hands I have ever drawn ever
Kneenibble commented that he had no avatar for Aquatic Week so wasn't going to be participating. I couldn't let this tragedy come to fruition so I made him this!
And finally my Gnomish Cecaelia! Got lots of Ursula references from this, but I suppose that was to be expected
And here is Mr Moneybags for the Board Game Iron Avatarist Competition! I'm thinking of putting him in a scene running away from Haley and Belkar, but haven't made up my mind

Oh, also, the last couple batches really do show a lot of improvement over the old ones. I gotta say that my favorites are, of course, the mad science ones.
I don't have a favourite because they're all good.
Having a favourite would be like eating all the chocolates in a box and deciding which one tasted the nicest.
