I'm going with 3 acts out the gate! Unless you're one of those silly munchkins that put Artifacts on their character sheet, in which case you only get one. :Smalltongue:
Also, I think someone else had dibs on making Human kind.
As for people not responding, I suspect it's mostly because so much has been going on, since people are trying to make big entrance scenes.
E.G. DarkDM also had his god shine light over the entire world or something like that. Considering we don't have a sun yet, that is most likely something everyone on Gaia would've noticed. But no-one said anything.
Also, Myel did a magic thing all across the globe, and only one other player reacted to that, I think.
So let's just say too much is going on and the gods are still somewhat divorced from reality to take much notice of anything that happens that they didn't make.

You bring up some very good points about the kinds of things people could be reacting to and have not yet done so. However, it might not be a good idea to say too much is going on.
One option is to not react, which is a valid option but encourages... nothing at all. The other option is to react, which is also a valid option but encourages... more posting and interweaving of each other's stories.
Re: Godhood 3 OOC: Keep Hands and Feet away from the Gearworks
I agree completely. I'm just saying the fact that people didn't react to the many things that happened isn't a big deal, as long as they react from now on. Usually there aren't that many Acts being spent all at once on such large world changing events (like creating an entire sea of ice or creating magic). At least not in any LoC games I played.
Now that players are beginning to converse, and not just blow stuff up or shake themselves of the shock and awe of being born and seeing the world for the first time, I suspect we'll slow down - or speed up - to a nice, steady pace.
EDIT: Also, HT, Chainaxe?! I hope it isn't motorized. I was kind of hoping we'd have some sort of a medieval era (wars) before we go all 40k on each other.

How long have we had an OOC? O_o
I have a post ready to drop for Peleia and Nemorien, complete with an act each for a weird 'Lol, metaphysics' area caused by the two of them. Part of said area is that those who die there A: Become undead and B: are bound to Peleia. Is the last bit okay? It would overwrite existing affiliations.
(Note, of course, that your god could always come find her and say 'Hey! Give me back my dead hero!')

I'm imagining that is what Myel has done. She has plucked the spirits of the naga killed in the wave out of the flow of souls, and invested them with power.

TechnOkami: by the crater, did you mean the original crash site of Eshel, or the deep pit in which she fell? They're two different places in the broken mountains, and I'd daresay that jumping into the pit would be a tricky proposition.

Half Tangible, I just want to say that your opening post with Volk really pissed me off. I mean, made me genuinely furious for a couple of seconds. I felt so bad for those poor wolves.
So, bravo for being a good enough writer to evoke emotion.

Halna LeGavilk: Hope you don't mind I killed some of your Guardians. I just thought it'd be nicer to include other creatures from other gods rather than just create something of my own out of some dead trees.
If you mind, though, do tell, and I'll change it.
If not, than yay, Nemo and Martin have a reason to hate each other now (after Martin finds out, that is).
Also, did I portray them right? Should I do something different next time?

Well, I don't mind. Martin more than likely will.
Guardians are elementals- they take the form of whatever landscape they come from. Ones in the forest are tree-like, near mountains they'd be stone, near rivers water, etc, etc.

Great, so I used them right. I don't think the element-by-area thing was clear from your IC post, but it's good to know.
TechnOkami: First, just in case you didn't know, we started the game with 3 Acts. Second, a new turn begins when the DM decides to pass a turn. This will most likely happen when he feels enough players have spent some/all of their remaining Acts and enough time has passed since the beginning of the last turn.
As for when the next turn comes around...Obliviom?
EDIT: That was fast, Creed. I'll try to reply today.
Any rate, a question for Sheep and Incendax: Can I assume your gods are making their way to Nemo and Moarzed, so we can have that family meeting we talked about, or do you have something else in mind?

Ok, so I have one left... and Oblivion said that it took all my acts to make the items (sword n' armor) I have now.

I believe I quoted the same at the top of this page. Now, I don't know if Obliviom told you specifically anything regarding your Acts, but assuming you used two Acts to create two Artifacts, you still have one Act left.
Unless you already used it on something else, which I don't believe you had.

Well, last I heard from him he said it would cost all my acts, but we were given 3, not 2. I'll wait on his answer before I decide I'm going to use an act I might or might not have (even if I'm within reason to do so).

Back when I'd said that, I was planning on giving 2 acts. I kinda gave everyone an extra one at the last second.

So yeah, you still have that third act.
Woo! *happy dance*
Well, just so you all know, the helmet is now adding to her defensive rating. It's already made, sort to speak, though it originally wouldn't have given a defensive bonus by itself. Now it does.
