Hello any and everyone to my first public Nuzlocke. I've done Nuzlockes before from time to time on my own but I thought I'd make this a shared effort. So I hope you enjoy.
Rules
Spoiler
-One Pokemon per route may be caught
-The Pokemon caught will be determined by a random roll a percentile die for each route, if I fail to catch the Pokemon I cannot try again.
-Fainting = death for all except ghost type Pokemon.
-Shinies are exempt from the death rule only once, however they are allowed to be caught on routes that already have had a captured Pokemon.
-All Pokemon are to be named and will act according to their Nature.
Chapter 1: Starting out

"Zzzz..Zzzzz.." "Gahh! who are you and how did you get in here?!" "I'm gonna call you creepy dream invading guy, is that okay?" "I already know this, it's common knowledge since I live in this world too." "Seriously you've been talking to me for about 10 minutes and never thought to see what I look like?" "Tsume." "Get out of my head!" "You're still creepy."*Bump!* "Huh.. oh yeah moving.. *sigh*" "Mom! You gotta listen to me there was this guy and~" "Yeah sure, it's downright rustic. Now about this guy~" "Mom you're not listening to me! "Wow a whole clock, with hands and everything.... he shouldn't have." "It's alright, kinda bare though. I'll be right down okay mom?" "Mom you act like dad never comes home and... forgot it." *turns TV off* Dangit dad, you should be here too. Petelburg isn't to far, I'll go see why he's to busy to be home on our first day in a new house. yup that's shouting alright. "Me?! what can I do, that thing looks vicious!" "Well technically there are three Pokeballs... alright ennie, meenie, miney~"
What Pokemon should I choose to save the Birtchman from the viocous puppy. I'll tally up all the votes later tonight and make my choice.

Kippers - Neutral Good
Kippers himself is a kind hearted little Pokemon, his gentle nature causing him to sometimes miss intentionally or deliver minor scratches. Though he knows he will not always have this luxury he attempts to always make sure he does not kill his opponent.
Silus "Bones" Cubone -Chaotic Good
Bones is always willing to do the right thing, whether he's prepared for the consequences or not. His trademark growl and tail whip are unmatched, unfortunately he always seems to need help finishing what he starts.
HaX3R -Lawful Neutral
A Pokemon of Cyberspace, HaX3R lived in data streams throughout the Pokemon World. Intrigued b the data collection archive carried by Tsume he wished to learn more and so manifested himself in the physical world. He speaks in codes and commands at times and confuses most of the party.
Hoots -Chaotic Neutral
Hoots spied on Tsume and Kipper for awhile before making her presence known. After watching their "daring" defeat and capture of Bones she followed the pair and eventually was also captured. She stays very close to Tsume, though she hesitates when he speaks to her for some odd reason.

Wow that's a weird combo of things. for those wondering why 158 = Hoothoot it's because I removed all legends from the rolls so I had to skip some numbers and make them new ones. Anyways onward we go.

"This one looks good, alright lets go!"
The canine Pokemon stood no chance against the Mudkip, however during the fight it seemed odd.
Every so often it almost looked as if the Mudkip was purposely missing the Poochyena or only grazing it. Beaten to near a inch of it's life the wild ran away. With the crisis averted the Professor let out a sigh of relief. "That.. was far to close, thank goodness you came around when you did." He gathered his things as Tsume recalled the Pokemon to it's ball. "Hmm, you have quite a knack to be able to use a pokemon that well from scratch. How about coming with me to my lab?" "Wait, lab? Oh god you're that man from my dream!"
The Professor merely looked at him puzzled and then laughed, "A dream ehh, well some people would call it that, come along now." "Just to be clear, I'm only following you for answers, not cause you told me to."
After a brief explanation of the professor's job and his own dream, Tsume agreed to take on a Pokemon journey. "Excellent! I have just the partner for you." he said pointing to the pokeball Tsume still held. "Of course he'll need a name though, so what will it be?" releasing the Pokemon for a better look he began thinking of a name. "I don't know... hmm"
the small blue creature looked up and jumped onto Tsume's shoulder whispering something into his ear. "My name's Kippers"
More freaked out that the thing could talk then anything Tsume jumped a bit, deciding to ask later. "I guess his name is Kippers.
The Professor laughed "That's a good name for him that's for sure. Say my daughter is a trainer as well." "Is she hot?"
"What?"
"Nothing."
A quick jog later and we found ourselves on Route 103. Almost as if they were a magnet for trouble many Pokemon attacked them on the way, each one was beaten to a unconscious state so Tsume finally decided to ask. "So uhhh... Kippers, you seem to be really using kid gloves on these guys. What's up with that? I mean I can understand not wanting to kill or hurt to badly, but some of these things are attacking to try and eat us."
Kippers stayed silent for a moment before responding "It's just not my nature to harm things, I felt kinda bad for that pup earlier. Even though it attacked first, the Professor really should have known tall grass is dangerous. I can't believe someone who studies us Pokemon for a living would do something that foolish.
He had a point. In the distance they spotted a girl in a bandana, she seemed way to into her work and didn't even notice them coming. "Hi you must be May, I'm~"
*Shriek* she nearly leapt off nearby hill in surprise, dropping her things. Yup, shes the professors daughter, they both scream the same way. she got up brushing herself off and stamped a foot down. "Don't you know that it's not nice to go sneaking up on people! What kind of person just does that, especially to a girl huh?!" "Whoah, slow down. Your dad sent me out here to meet you, not my fault you have incredible tunnel vision." it took her a moment to decide whether that was a insult or a compliment. Then spotting the Mudkip she smiled. "Alright then, we'll have a battle to see who's in the right. ~One Treeko Thumping later~
She slumped a bit returning her Pokemon, "Fine I guess I overreacted." She began gathering her things into her pack before continuing. "If you're going to be a trainer though you should get a Pokedex from my dad, come on I'll race you back!"
She won of course, since she took a large headstart. Now outfitted with a dex and Pokeballs Tsume headed out for~ "Honey wait a moment!" "Kinda, I saved his life is more like it." "Ohh! What a cute little Pokemon!" Tsume is ignored, "Are you going on a trip, oh you're just like your father I always said~"
~This could be awhile folks~ "And that's why Parasect don't make good umbrellas" "Yes mom, I'll remember that...." "Here sweetie, take this. It's a new pair of shoes I got off of the Home Shopping Network. They're supposed to be gaurenteed for a spring in your step."
slipping the shoes on, "Thanks mom, now really I have to go." waving and rushing off, Tsume headed for route 101 and his new Pokemon Journey.

Starting out on their journey, Tsume and Kippers headed north on Route 101. stumbling through the grass they soon heard a rustle as something bolted towards them
The Pokemon growled at the two of them as Kippers stepped forward to take up the challenge. "I don't want to hurt you, so leave now." The Pokemon merely growled in response
Kicking up dirt and mud at the foe, Kippers began to attain the upper hand.
A ball and a few shakes later, and they had their first new companion. A pair of large eyes watched them from the trees as they retrieved the ball
Rushing to the Pokemon center nearby they healed and decided to chat with the newcomer. "So what's your name huh little guy?"
The Cubone readjusted it's helm and scoffed, "My name is Silus Bones, not little guy, you got lucky with kicking dirt like that at me. I almost had you."
Kippers and Tsume looked indifferent, "All you did was growl alot." "Yeah, well that's scary ya know! It's worked before."
Deadpan looks are ushered from both Tsume and Kippers "You guys are tough, alright tell ya what. I'll help you guys out, looks like you need some zest and I'm your man."
Tsume merely nodded not wanting to argue and recalled Bones, the Hasty Cubone.
All your Dex are belong to me

Heading north to Route 103 Tsume looked around for if May had forgotten anything. He could bring it back to her now easier then later if she did. Spotting nothing he walked back towards town before a loud beeping came from his dex. "What's up with this thing?" he wondered aloud pulling it out as the camera function activated itself. A ray of light shot out and began drawing something. "Whoa, what the heck is that?" "Initiating protocol 12-Rx7.. life-form detected, countermeasures active.." "You're doing what to the who now?"
Kippers rushed forward again using the muddy assault to try and beat back the creature. After a few good hits it ushered a new command as it's body changed to a strange exoskeleton-like husk. The mud was no longer effective and it made it's own attacks. "Don't worry buddy I got it!" A pokeball flew encasing the creature. A few shakes and a sudden burst of static ushered from the ball as the Pokemon escaped. "Capture device, primitive... hacking lock, successful." "Oh it's on now, keep at it Kipper I have a plan."
Each ball met the same fate, a new password unlock time and time again until finally.
*Burst* "Hacking success~" Tsume had decided to throw multiple balls at it in a row and overload it's speed at hacking, after 9 balls it finally worked. "Alright lets see what we have here." *releases Pokemon* Greetings, I am the Hardwire model X3 revised, you may call me HaX3R.
Both Tsume and Kippers were still confused "Alright HaX3R, well we don't know what you were doing in my dex but~" "This unit is programed to gather data, your log of carbon lifeforms was most pleasing to this unit." "Well.. if you want you can come with us, I'm sure we'll be meeting a lot more on our journey."
A smile could be seen in HaX3R's eyes, "Agreed, this unit shall accompany you." Thus we are joined by HaX3R, the Docile Porygon

With HaX3R and Boney now on the team then decided to get this journey moving. First stop Petalburg to see a man about his family. Spotting a small pond Tsume stopped to enjoy the scenery. he let Kippers out to play in the water.
The Mudkip frolicked about in the pond before *Smack*
Something form the trees had tackled him, it was fast, faster then he was anyways. It came again but this time they were ready. Tackling back they beat down the attacker and with a ball.
They made an ally.
Not wasting much time they released the new Pokemon who appeared to be a owl of some sort. As Tsume knelt down for a closer look the Owl ran behind Kippers, it's face turning a bit red. "Umm are you okay? "Y-Yes! I mean, I'm fine. I..I'm just not to good around people." "Oh, sorry about that, I've been told I do that to girls alot. I'm assuming you are one.
She nodded standing on her one foot, "M-My name is Hoots, I'm sorry about attacking you. I thought he was a fish." "No harm no foul, right Kippers?" He nodded, "You don't need to be afraid Ms... "Oh, I'm sorry. Umm, my name is Hoots." "Well Hoots, wanna come with us?"
Her large eyes lit up "Oh yes, yes yes, I'd love to go on a journey with you!" leaping forward she flew up perching and nestling on Tsume's head "Uhhh..." he shook his head, continuing forward to Petalburg now accompanied by Hoots. The Bashful Hoothoot.
(alright for the next section we go to Norman's and see what's so important a dad doesn't come home almost ever. also next capture will be in the forest. and it will be an attempt at. Also I messed up on y route number, 103 is to the north of Oldale, 102 is to Petalburg)
Forest capture = Pokemon #102 Exeggcute
they'll be a tough egg to crack, hopefully I can do so without scrambling them. thanks to all reading. go ahead and come up with a name for the Exeggcute. for me and I'll update later today.

Tsume and the group traveled through the entirety of Route 103 far to many times. The trainers gave them little resistance after his first crossing but he hoped to gain some more time with his new friends before proceeding. Hoots had learned to see through many of the tricks Pokemon used to avoid attacks. Kippers learned to spout water from his mouth. Bones finally learned that their are more "effective" ways of dealing with enemies, like hitting them with that club he carries. And HaX3R discovered a way to make his body much faster and lighter with a few tweaks to his program.
Now they arrive at Petalburg and stand before the gym. Tsume takes a moment to look over the Nameplate. "A man in pursuit of power huh?"
It was cheesy and cliche, most likely his dad had either thought it up or the league gave it to him. He walked in ready to show what he was made of, and give a piece of his mind "Dad you here?!"
Norman looked up confused for a second why anyone would call him dad here, he was leader, or master not dad. "Ohhh, it's you, that explains it. What do want Tsume?" "Don't just oh it's you me. I want to know what you're doing here, you should be at home with mom getting the new house in order. Not standing around in some empty room waiting for god knows how long for a random trainer to show up."
As if on cue a trainer walks in through the gym's doors, he doesn't look like he's here to challenge and looks bit timid. "Ah yes, you must be Wally. i heard you were coming, what can I do for you?" Well you see... I was wondering if I could have a Pokemon. I'm going to be moving in with my aunt and uncle shortly and I had heard they make good companions."
Norman nodded handing two pokeballs to Wally, "he best companion you can have is one you catch yourself, and your in luck. My son Tsume here will go and make sure you catch a suitable partner for yourself." "I'll what?"
Wally was too excited to hear the question and Norman merely glared, Tsume reluctantly went out with Wally to catch a Pokemon.
Tsume nodded, I wonder what he'll get, a Lotad. probably a Ziggy. a rustle and a Pokemon leapt form the grass, it was a Ralts. wow, he sure is lucky, those things aren't to common.
A quick battle later found Wally now the proud owner of a Ralts, sure all it could do was Growl, but that's all Bones did too.
Wally was ecstatic and rushed back to Norman to show his Pokemon and return the one he borrowed. leaving with a smile on his face as Tsume walked in. "So, when are you coming home?"
Norman stayed Stoic to the question, "When my job is done, I've yet to have many trainers come for battle today.
Tsume huffed, "Then take me on, right now!"
Norman shook his head, "Maybe when you are more experienced, as it is now. you are nothing to this gym."
Tusme walked up to Norman looking at him as he spoke, "Alright then, I'll continue this journey then, and when I come back this way I'll take you down." with that he stormed off, heading towards Rustboro and his first Gym challenge.

Still angry from the encouter with Norman, Tsume made his way east on route 104. Deciding to take the most direct route to Rustboro, right through the forest. As he passed by a old shack near a pier he spotted something very small crawling through the grass. Not wanting to miss this chance he tapped Hoots pointing out the small bug. flying fast she smashed into the bug as a ball followed.
He released the bug hoping to find out more about it. It immediately tackled him brandishing it's stinger "What du you think yu are duing yu idioat! Iv yu hav bruzzed me I shall show no mercy tu yu." "I.I'm sorry I just thought that~" "Humph, yu think, no no no. I think, yu are not thinking at all." "Well I'm sorry nonetheless. Do you have a name?" "I am Quiin, I wuzz looking around tu see where that boat had taken me, then yu come out of nowhere and smack me!" "Well I can release you if you want." "No no on yu du not! You captured me, now yu are stuck with me, and first to make up for that horrid way yu assaulted me, I want yu tu help me reach my full potential tut sweet."
Thus Quiin the serious Weedle, made her presence known to the group.

Walking through the forest was good so far, the only problem they encountered was that thief. It wasn't so bad though since they'd gotten a Great ball out of it. So far no Pokemon though, just trainers. it was then that the team spotted a group of six eggs moving oddly about. After a tough fight, in which the great ball was even used, they had made a new partner. "Well lets see what we have here huh guys?"
The egg-like Pokemon emerged and appeared to be arguing amongst itself."I told you to go left, you guys never listen to me! I went left it was Shelly she went right! Nuhuh Shelly you went Right too, I was following you! I was following you, you can't be following me!" *Rabble rabble rabble rabble*
Tsume face-palmed, this was gonna be painful. "Umm, excuse me."
They stopped and looked up smiling, "Ohh, hello there. Hey back off I saw him first! What you said that last time, besides it's my turn! Nuhuh it's my turn!" *Rabble rabble rabble rabble* *sigh* "Ummm, Shelly? "Yes! x6" "How about you come with us we could use, you, probably." "Squee! x6" the Shelly hopped up and down in a excited fashion before being recalled. Thus joins Shelly, the Lonely Exeggcute.
Storyline- Rocking Rustboro

Finally arriving at Rustboro, Tsume makes a beeline for the gym. Well almost a bee line.
*facepalm "Seriously.... well lets get this over with."
Heading through the doors he gets his first look at a gym in operation, as opposed to his days gym which still looked like it need work. "Yeah hi are you the gym leader?" "Nope, Jim Guy is the name. I'm the offical Pokemon Leauge watchdog for up and comers like you." "So you stand in gyms all day waiting for trainers to come in, isn't that a bit.... crazy?" "Hahahah. No my young man, crazy is not wanting to witness the birth of a star! The footsteps of the greats! The~" "Okay I'm going that way, bye."
Jim Guy continued to talk, it was as if he didn't really need someone there listening to him. Tsume felt a tug at his belt from one of the pokeballs. "Let me have a go at these rockheads. I'll bust em up real good." Bones smacked his club down for emphasis in his palm. "Alright we'll see how it goes, but if you get in trouble Kippers will bail you out."
The first fights went smoothly, the Geodude couldn't even touch Bones soon it was time for the Gym Leader.
She didn't look like she was any older then Tsume, maybe even younger, or maybe it was jsut the uniform she was in. "Welcome to the Rustboro Gym, I'm Roanne, and I take it you're challenging the gym today? "That's right Missy, we're here for your mon's so do your worst!" Bones seemed rather eager maybe to much so. "Alright then, lets get to it!"
The battle started out fine, with *sigh* another damned Geodude. Sure it was tougher then the others but Bones still put it down with a few well placed Thwacks! It was then that something new showed up. "Nosepass...." "If you say so."
The Nosepass was alot faster then the Geodude was, tougher too. It's attacks, even though not effective, were beggingin to damage Bones badly. "Bones! you're gonna have to find a way to get rid of that power!"
Bones gritted his teeth beneath his mask and growled. he growled as much as he could while the Nosepass took this time to strengthen it's defense. in the end
*Fwhump* "Nose...."
Roxanne returned her Nosepass and handed Tsume the Boulder badge, remarking that by merely having the badge with him it would increase his battlers strength. "Does that really happen? I mean it's jsut a badge, does it really make me stronger?"
Roxanne shrugged "I dunno, that's just what the leauge told me it does. Oh yeah and you'll be able to cut down trees now that are in your way." "And I couldn't do that before because?"
Roxanne shrugged, "Rules I guess. anways take care"

I had to runn out eralier so I didn't get to the full update but I'll get right to how we rocked Roxanne right now thanks to editing. as a sidenote it is time for a roll for Rustboro tunnel and route 116.
Route 116: Chansey.... wow that's gonna suck.
