She blushes, plating out the masses of crispy baaaaaaacon. So um.
What happens now?
"Well, I dunno."
Andy grabs BACON.
And EATS IT.
"What do you want to have happen now?"

"Drama queen? Not so much as 'cynical, bitter, cynical, jaded, and did I mention cynical', and I think I'm pretty well justified in that considering that whatever I touch turns to ashes." Eileen sighs, and works on finishing up getting clean.
"Need more data. I don't suppose you know how to find it? Or where it is? If possible, I would like to find it and stop it now... either banish it or blow it up. Maybe turn it to stone if I don't have any alternative... and if I can." Kate's very serious. She isn't working today (don't look directly at the timeline) so she's willing to up and hunt that thing down right now to save others from it.

Dra-ma-queen Tracey mouths, unseen by Eileen in the other shower stall. "If that's the case, touch my shoe collection, and you die."
She finally finishes up her shower, towels off, and pulls on a tank top and shorts. "Lets go."
Tracey's place is typical of the quarters for single enlisted soldiers - very small. It does have a separate bedroom, but the bathroom is tiny and the kitchen is just one corner of the living room. The living room is made even more cramped by the addition of a couple of stand alone wardrobes stuffed full of clothes and shoes that wouldn't fit in the bedroom closet or the wardrobes in there.
The posters on the wall show artistic photographs of very attractive men. There's a sofa and a tv cabinet that includes some dvds and a game console.
"Hi, Home, I'm Honey," Tracey announces as she walks in. The home, unsurprisingly, does not answer.
"Yes, but it's not like I haven't been changed before. And unless it's stopped, it's going to keep changing people. This does smell like the kind of thing that I could hire adventurers for, but I don't have that kind of money. Besides, I could probably use divine magic to shield myself from it. I don't have a lot of information... can it be banished? Is it hard to destroy? I bet I could find an empty bottle or something that I could pixie to hold it until I have the information... anyway, do you know where to find it?"
Kate is thinking fast here... but is coming to logical conclusions. If she can, she will find the Kami and stop it.
"Don't worry. I've got all the shoes I need," Eileen declares with a chuckle, picking out a comfortable T-shirt and long pants, in urban camo, before following Tracey to her quarters. The posters on the wall don't get much of a look.
Unless Tracey has one of Ricardo Montalban, of course.
"I'd make a comment about where honey comes from, but I won't," the Nordic blonde quips with a chuckle, before turning serious. "...thanks for helping me," she says, more earnest than she has been...well, all this time, really.

Eileen's first comment gets a disbelieving and pitying stare. "I saw your closet. You don't even have the minimum number of shoes necessary to support life, girl!"
As to the last statement, Tracey just waves it off. "De nada. Whatcha want for dinner? Chinese, pizza, or something else? I don't cook, but you're welcome to try if you have the urge."
"Explore, go swimming in the river, chase frogs..." Andy grins!

"The last time I cooked was...a long time ago," Eileen observes. "But I could go for General Tso's. The spicier the better. As for shoes, I don't see why I need more than the one pair. Maybe two. I can only wear one pair at a time, after all."
From her expression, she might be needling Tracey a bit...
[Flats House]
Scaithe blinks... hesitates... and nods. ... Y-yeah, o-okay... sure.
Going somewhere.
Going.
To a place other than here.
Voluntarily.
With another person who hugged her and talked to her and ate with her.
There was no way she wasn't dreaming.
Oh noes! Day reacts in the blink of an eye, grabbing for Mini-Clarissa as she's 'dragged' off his shoulder. Seeing as she's an illusion this will likely end with her simply passing through his fingers, but somehow even that doesn't tip Day off to the deception. Suspicion is simply not a talent you develop when you can already read the minds of everyone around you.
Mini-Clarissa reappearing and laughing at him works to clue him in though. "Knew it was a trick. I was only playing along to humor you." He says, crossing his arms and plopping back down in his chair with a sullen expression.
[Fortress Mountain]
Not laughing at! Laughing with!
Well, she would be laughing with if it weren't for Day not finding this funny in the slightest. Hmm... That is more than a little vexing!
Aw! Don't pout like that! I'm sure you'll get back at me sometime! It's a game! Just laugh it off!
Mini-Clarissa chimes in, attempting to tap Day on the shoulder in the most good-natured manner she can muster up!
"You're gonna have to lighten up if you ever want to interact with all the crazies out there! Can't let them get under your skin! I'll teach you the ropes on how to counter-prank, kiddo! Just you wait and see!"
Mini-Clarissa smiles!
Meanwhile, regular Clarissa has produced three bottles of creme soda. One for herself, one for her mini-self, and one for Day.
"Pretty awesome light show you have there, Day! You thirsty? I have some soda here that I thought you might enjoy! Here!"
Clarissa generously offers Day a bottle of soda! Nope! It's not shaken up at all! >.< Wherever did you get that idea?
In all honesty, though, two of the bottles are shaken up. One of them may or may not be the one Clarissa seems to want him to accept! If Day selects wisely, maybe his won't explode in his face?

Andy finishes her BACON! and smiles. "Wanna grab anything to take with us?" she asks, standing up.
Eventually they have a duffel bag full of fun things! Um, ready to... go?
Andy nods, grinning as she reaches for her friend's hand!
"Sure! How about we teleport?" she asks, before activating her remote to launch the Ground Bridge...to here!

"I live in hope that the alcohol didn't completely kill that part of your brain." Tracey says. Then she phones in an order of Chinese.

"Would it be able to kill what was never there in the first place?"
Eileen finds a couch. And SITS ON IT. Gasp!
"...of course, maybe I'll pick up a soda addiction in its place..."

"I hope it's diet soda. You don't want to lose your figure." Tracey says. "So, got any good gossip?"
"Yes, but it's not like I haven't been changed before. And unless it's stopped, it's going to keep changing people. [Kate's Apartment]
"Honestly? I don't have the answers to your questions. Or, rather, I can't give them to you. I can tell you, however, that the bottle trick should work as long as it's manifested. As soon as it stops manifesting, it wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue anymore."
Cos is smiling inwardly. He's just wondering at how adventurous Kate is being here.

"So presumably, simply blasting it back to whence it came would be simpler... unless I bind it to the bottle, which would probably be cruel. And really, that sounds like the lead-in to a side quest."
Kate used to play this kind of game.
"But if I can't find it, it's a moot point. I just have to hope that it doesn't get anyone... or get anyone too bad, anyway."
"Oh, right." It's going to take her a bit to get used to that.
She pulls out the holy symbol and looks at it. She tries to use the divine magic to locate the change Kami... she doesn't know what it's name is (or what it's called), but she does know it resulted from the changes made to her and that it altered her.
Kate will find that the spirit is wandering around the Grey Zone park area. This is good; it hasn't really come into contact with many people yet because few are stupid enough to take a park. for the most part, it seems to be wandering aimlessly.
Once Kate stops focusing on the spell, she should be able to walk directly to the spirit, and if its location changes, so will the mental pointer that's taking her in the right direction. Until she chooses to drop it, that is.

Kate gets her third arm out of her backpack and fits it into the slot on her back. It looks scrawny compared to the other arms now, but it's still pretty strong and it has a laser built in.
She goes to Sophie's cupboard and taps on the door. "Sophie, I'm going to go blast the thing that did this."
