None were quite sure of the cause, but one day, dark portals appeared across the world. Spewing from them were fiends of all types. Tanar'ri, Baatezu, Yugoloth, Ghereleth, and countless others swept across the world. Massive battles ensued, as the mortals attempted to defend their homelands from the threat of the fiends.
They fought at their best, but their best wasn't good enough. The might of the fiends, combined with their tirelessness and sheer numbers eventually overwhelmed the defenders. Nations fell, and the fiends set up brutal tyrannies and dictatorships, dividing the world between the fiendish races.
There was some success, as the defenders grouped together into surviving cities and dig in, preventing the fiends from taking these final pockets of freedom.
However the defenders cannot last indefinitely and if something is not done soon, defeat seems all too likely...
The 16
Spoiler
1. D&D 3.5.
2. Standard D&D.
3. Not really looking for a specific amount of players.
4. We'll be doing this via Play-by-Post.
5. Starting at 24th level.
6. Wealth-by-Level. (1,800,000 gp)
7. No particular ban on classes, provided they aren't blatantly overpowered.
8. Again all races are allowed. Additionally, one template may be applied with out increasing LA.
9. Generate ability scores via 5d6b3
10. No restrictions on alignment, just if you're going to be evil, don't do it as an excuse to just kill everybody or do other stupid evil things.
11. No ban on multiclassing. Under tome rules, there's no XP penalty to multiclassing.
12. I"ll be rolling saving throws for the sake of time. Otherwise, you're on your honor for the sake of time.
13. There's some cool stuff here if you're looking for homebrew. Also check out the other tomes and such.
14. I would like some sort of backstory, enough to define who your character is, their likes and dislikes, and a bit of their history.
15. The game will be a good amount of hack and slash, plus some adventuring and hopefully some good roleplaying. I'm not to good with the puzzle part, though i might try to do one if it crosses my mind.
16. Feel free to use any source for your character, provided it's not blatantly overpowered or beyond the scope of this campaign,( such as the immortals series).

This barbaric group had incorperated a small clan of ogres and a crew of maenads and their captain to join their cause. Using the ogres to help in the heavy work and the boarding, the maenads tranpsort them to bigger ships to take them over. always starting the battle small and ending with a big honker
Beast talks in Blue *Sorry for the similar color but reminds me of xmen beast...
Edit---
shoot completely forgot about the command feat. I have a lvl 16 ohort and 110 other barbarian followers. (restriction was barbars only). I mythweavers the cohort asap. The others... Idk what to do with them. They'd be slaughtered so easily

Description
Spoiler
Kagemaru is of average height and a very lithe physique with dark blue complexion and hair, and yellow eyes.
Just like others of fiendish ancestry, he possesses two short horns on his forehead, bat-like tails around four feet long, pointed teeth, and cloven feet.
He wears sleek, skintight black clothes, which covers almost the entirety of his body. He tops if off with white gloves and dark blue vest.
Personality
Spoiler
Kagemaru is an impatient person who usually acts on impulse. He dislikes being ordered and pushed around, and has a knack for disobeying.
In battle, he is ruthless and swift in executing the forces of evil. He doesn't enjoy combat and actually despises the act of killing, but he nonetheless sees eradicating evil as his duty. He has no qualms about using dirty tactics, or even using his own fiendish powers, as a means to a good end.
Despite his demonic appearance, Kagemaru is actually a good-hearted person. He constantly tries to prove to everyone that his ancestry alone doesn't define what he really is.
Nonetheless, he has a soft spot for those whom he holds dear, and will stop at nothing to protect them when such needs arise.
History
Spoiler
He is a product of demonic violation of humans. His mother died giving birth to him, while his hellspawned father either never knew he had fathered a child or just didn't care. Kagemaru was raised in a small rebel refuge by the clerics and paladins of Corellon Larethian.
He grew up hating evil fiends, although he believes there are others like him with fiendish blood in their veins who aren't evil despite their heritage. He vows to kill his own father despite not yet knowing the latter's identity. He now is part of the rebellion, one of the many who hail themselves as champions of The Protector.
My need for keeping things organized leads me to vote no on changing sites. It isn't hard to keep up with the IC here. Also, Apollo will speak in dark red.
Well, if you had ranks in profession, pilot. That or fighting your way inside the ship and damaging the engine or something.

I forgot about my summon the legion feat. I have a cohort, who via the Cr limitations is going to be only 20th level, and a planetar. I had followers, but they had to be outsiders so they're lantern archons mostly...

I'm playing as a level 24 cleric with a level 23 wizard as a cohort. I'm just waiting to see what happens until night-infinite Miracles, Wishes, and epic spells are unleashed.
I am here, for the record - sorry I've been quiet, but I've been busy. With that all out the way, I should have the spell list completed tomorrow and that should be that.
Intro post for Elsabeth will be up tomorrow because I just want to get some sleep right now.
If you don't want to wait that long, her actions will be a variation on standing on the city wall and blowing things up while using up to three spells per round.
The character can permanently summon sixteen solars to attack his or her enemies. It appears where the character designates and acts immediately, on the character’s turn. It attacks the character’s opponents to the best of its ability. If the character can communicate with the creature, he or she can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions.
Caveat is that I will not use them for Miracle shenanigans and other similar spells (using CR8 genies are way better for that task anyway). Of course, finding that many casters is my problem now.
I just want to throw out there that this is one of the slowest starts I've had to a game, which hopefully means it's only speed up from here :p
That aside, I have figure out how my group of barbars works. My cohort is a Maenad Captain, 50 of the 90 lvl 1s are his crew and we board and take airship when we aren't fighting on the ground. The lvls 2-6 are a small ogre clan with the lvl 6 being the chief. The other 40 lvl 1s are an asorment of other races, but few dwarves and no deurgar.
I have a feeling next time I post in the IC, my cohort and crew will pick us up and take us to capture another ship :p (I just made use some airship pirates who are brute and vicious :p )

If there's a big enough noise/explosion or something, Elsabeth will wind up there pretty quickly. The vamp spawn will have to stay in the sewers, but seeing as I haven't even bothered stating them up, that suits me fine.
I guess a big explosion would be a good way to attract everybody's attention.
Okay... wait, that's not a good way, actually. Maybe the Supreme commander or whoever is in charge would summon(figuratively or literally) them to the right place?
EDIT: @PowerGamer about the color, maybe one of us could speak in boldface to make it easier to distinguish the two
