Just hope they had permission to use likenesses of the OoTS.
Unless they plan to sell them how is that an issue? I mean, I know it's a case-by-case thing if you're allowed to what kind of fan-works and what for, but I can't imagine OotS being one of the things that'd send you Cease and Desist letters for uploading, say, notebook doodles of OotS characters... Maybe you're just being flippant though, I dunno, it's hard to tell.

From what I can tell:
1. They did not.
2. They're a commissioned for a different person, who's the actual fan.
3. I pretty much doubt that Rich is gonna throw down the banhammer for one lady making cupcakes for a fan. Maybe, though.
