It depends on what Zane says, I guess. If persuades him, he'll probably reveal himself. Such as it is, the last time he did, he got silenced, amongst other things...

the zap just ate any active magical spells on him. Backlash would have given him some moderate pain and leave him a little hurt, but not down and out by a long shot. besides that, nothing special.

People who fail their will save think that they can feel it as well, though they must be consious about the part they are touching (i.e. if someone else knocks the hat off a copy, and it knocks on his shoulder on the way down, and he isn't aware that the hat is doing so, he doesn't feel it.)
If you knock off a hat, the hat falls realistically. If you harm them, they take on the visual appearance of Zane harmed, and unless the person is somehow unaware of being stabbed (and can't feel the pain), he won't feel the fabric tearing apart.
When the illusion doesn't match what they're feeling, they automatically pass the will save.
People who were copies of Zane, but 'disbelieved' it, however, still see the other copies as they are...and people who saw that copy before he 'disbelieved' it, would still see a copy. Discrepencies = passed will saves.

- We finally have some information on The Empire of the Seven Dragons! Thanks to 3SecondCultist and some digging, plus some of my own creativity (which will be more apparent once I do the descriptions of the other regions) we have it pretty much good to go. Open to more on that, or if someone wants to take up some plot from there, now you have more to go off of.
- I'm working on some posts before the weekend starts. Juggling this with work and job application things. I should have at least a Zane post and a responce to Deneth before the day is done.
- How am I doing? I'd like to take this time to ask you folks what you want more of, what you want less of, and what we could do better?

Very well, when all is said and done! I like the new empire stuff. The caste system actually reminds me of the Tau a bit (if anyone here knows some 40K lore).
I am returning to this thread after a bit of a protracted absence. I apologize about not sending a proper notification. Looking forward to picking up the Guild Wars and the Lanath storylines once again!

The spell's a upgraded version of Black Tentacles, though it has a few appendages that has way longer range to drag it's hapless foe into the rest of the tentacles, where it'll start smoldering and choking people to death. It attacks everyone though, just that it prefers flying targets first.
Erm, Plans...how does Greenwing know that the wish was to have you not fly? He shouldn't know the details of my thoughts, unless one of his abilities is that he can read minds.
I thought it was rather obvious what tentacles to pluck him out of the sky means. He doesn't know the exact wording, but it's not hard to guess the wish was for him to not fly. The efreet would have had much better ways of killing him if that had been the wish. Wishing for him to not pursue Zane would have required him to not be able to stare at Zane as he escapes.
...I guess. There's so many things that the tenticles could be. Tenticles would be valid for a "Help me escape", or "tangle him up" or so on. I'll allow it. I just started my reply, and blanched at it because it seemed like he'd heard my thoughts or something. I also was just making sure it wasn't a misread that I had spoken to Kim rather than thought to him. Good enough. Working on post now.
I should note this more clearly; it tries to grab any appendages it can reach. It's not very fast. At the very least, it will wrap a tentacle around Greenwing's leg, but if the dragonman's slow, it can hold all of them.
Take note that only the wearer of the bracelet can make wishes too (and all wishes must be what the efreeti is capable of).
