Hello ladies and gentlemen, allow me to get straight to the point. Gnorman's Complete E6 Compendium looks awsome. I have never heard of it before running across Gnorman's stuff, and after reading all about it and looking over his class overhauls I'm just dying to play it!
So anybody else who want's to try out E6 (and Gnorman's classess) feel free to sign up! I'm not picky, so whatever the DM wants to do is fine with me.

Though it does seem like there is plenty that hasn't yet been finished.

Posting interest. E6 is fairly interesting to me, as well as Gnorman's interpretation. I figure we'll just have to avoid the Archetypes that aren't finished yet, on that matter.

I'm leaning toward a noble. But I'm not going to commit to anything (including whether I play or not) till I see the 16. I'd prefer a first level start.

Wait, I can DM this. Have a few ideas, will have 16 up in a bit.
Heres the 16;
Spoiler
1. What game system are you running (D&D, Call of Cthulu, Palladium, GURPS, etc.), and if applicable what edition (Original, Classic, Revised, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc.)? E6 3.5
2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "Shadow Chasers" or "Agents of Psi" for d20 Modern)? What is the setting for the game (eg. historic period, published or homebrewed campaign setting, alternate reality, modern world, etc.)? E6, a mix of horror and comedy, with some adventure. Mostly adventure.
3. How many Players are you looking for? Will you be taking alternates, and if so, how many?
4-6, with alternates.
4. What's the gaming medium (OOTS, chat, e-mail etc.)?
PbP
5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)?
Yer all level 1.
6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with?
WBL, plus 3d6gp.
7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes?
If it's from Gnorman's E6 thread? Go wild.
8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species?
Read number 7
9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points?
Max at first, then average rounded up or rolled for HP, abilities by 32 Point Buy or 4d6b3. Your allowed 3 sets of rolls, pick the best one.
10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so?
Any
11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it?
Feel free to multiclass. However, please note that you only have 6 levels.
12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system? If players can make die rolls, which ones do they make, how should they make the rolls, and how should they report them?
Use the forum roller.
13. Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? If so, list and explain them, or provide relevant links to learn about these new rules.
If it's on here ; http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=250820, it's free. Otherwise run it by me.
14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)?
Give me a little to work with. I will try and weave your backstories in with the campain world, but don't wrtie any novels that I can't steal credit for.
15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above?
Mix of all of the above, will try and do some RP aspects.
16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters? http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=250820 is good. Anything else? Run it by me.

For the abilities, do we start out with 8 or 10 in each?

Does this mean hack/slash & puzzle solving with a dash of roleplaying thrown in, or all three with a focus on roleplaying?
(more roleplaying the better for me)

Also, if you don't know 3.5, check out d20srd.org and the links in the 16. They have everything you need to know.
And by a mix, I mean all three. There will be hack and slash, but RP will also be important. Mostly in that some situations, hack and slash is not a good idea/ character growth is good.

WBL plus 3d6 gold. It don't say how much it is in the DMG, so lets go with 350gp.
Edit; Now, something about the world... General race relationships. Does not apply to you bunch, but maybe fit something in?
Spoiler
Dwarves; Dwarves mistrust anyone not of their own clan, and adventuring dwarves are seen as oddities, almost figures to be pitied. Go to on and off war with the Orcs and Jotuns, they have allies in the gnomes.
Elves; Ye average High or Gray elf is a stuck up snob. They tend to act like their so much better then everyone else. On and off war with Orcs, and often ally themselves with the Changelings. Wood eleves are xenophobic to almost anyone. Think the paranoid person with the following sign;
Quote:
Tresspassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.
Get along suprisingly well with dryads. And the Drow, must not forget about the Drow. All you need to know is that kids see way too much there. Humans and Cambions tend to like 'em, but noone really gets along well with them.
Gnomes; Gnomes are the wee buggers you see almost everywhere. They are the buggers that make your potions, run the hospital, and the badger shop. They're there, and most people just see them as part of the background.
Halfling; Halfings are not thought of as theives. They are the spies sure, the assassians guilds are mostly halflings yes, but they're the carravan barons. The true strength of the halflings is in their mobility and their trade empires, and it's said that if you need it, speak to a halfling. Halflings occasionaly fight with the Orcs and Juton, but they consider their true foes to be the rival Cambion merchant houses and Dwarven Banker clans.
Humans; Depends on where they're from. But they're fought with everyone at some point. While they may have a advantage in numbers, they face strong comptition from all the other races.
Orcs; Most people have a love/hate relationship with orcs. On one hand, they're a agressive martial culture. On the other hand, they're loyal, steadfast and exteremly honorable. It's said that it's easier to melt the moon into silver then get a orc to go back on their sworn word. While they often war with the Juton, both sides see it as friendly sparing. And of all the races, the Orcs stand closest (Meaning never been to war against) the Nephilim.
Cambions; The Cambions have several established guilds that cross national boundries. From the Untited Merchants Front, to the Bar of Certified Lawyers, to the Exclusive Commodities Merchant Houses, they're organized. They plot and scheme, and arrange behind the scenes takeovers and coups, considering pyshical confrentation to be a sign of failure. The only major economic powers that have escaped their grap would be the Halfling Merchant Caravans and the Dwarven Banker Clans.
Changelings; As fey creatures, they changelings seem to stand out. Some dwell among the drow, partaking in their perverse poltics, some among the wood elves, in a naturalistic existence. Some live among halflings, assisting with feats of infiltration. And some just go wherever they please, spreading some fey agenda.
Jutons; War. That is the one thing someone can say about Jutons. When their not fighting, their looking for one. Like humans, the Juton have warred against everyone, and in fact, Juton states are always at war with someone.
Nephilim; The Nephilim are the cursaders, the beacons for others to follow. They are the police forces, the hospital staff, the Judges in the courts. They get along well with the Orcs, and despise their Cambion cousians. They also tend to dislike the drow for some prudish reason.

What are your thoughts on traits, talents, flaws, etc?

If by Talents you mean skill Talents? Link 'em first.
Flaws? Link 'em or make one up, but has to be relevent. Play as a melee with the shay flaw? Every monster you fight will have massive sunder bonuses against melee weapons. Claustraphobia? Silent image.
Same with traits. The negative has to be something that matters.
Other wise, as long as you don't try being able to walk up to a dragon and smack it on the nose due to munchkinery, I'm fine with it.

Stopping in to say hey, thanks for giving my stuff a go. If you ever have any questions about the project, feel free to send me a private message. It's always in progress, but it is in much more of a transitional stage right now due to me drastically shifting some of the archetypes around.
Best of luck, and I'll be checking out the game with interest!

Talents are from Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed. Not sure how to link them.
Where do we look for starting equipment and such?
And any info about the world or our starting circumstance?

K, downloaded Unearthed Arcana, but have not seen the talent thing Just explain what ya mean/want to do with it, and I'll see about it.
Also, already edited in the "general racial relationships" thing, more info as character concepts come in. So far, I got a Pyromancer, a Lich and a praetorian, and your a noble right? Now, where to place you buggers....

Heh, Arcana Unearthed is different then Unearthed Arcana (no idea why they made books so damn confusing).
