Wow, obviously I missed these when they were first posted, but let me quote the rules -
Steam Punk no matter how advanced would always be advanced not magical - so have fun with your dirigibles (Same goes for each other punk variant, such as clockpunk, biopunk, cowpunk. EXCEPT for cyber punk - that will be a legendary concept). Advanced Concept can add +1 to mortal combat
In my book, lasers and railguns are solidly, singularly, cyberpunk.

I don't know, the death ray variety of laser and the huge magnetic weaponry are both classical toys of steampunk villains in my book.
As giant, singular, doomsday weapons maybe, but a concept implies wide application, and any wide application of lasers or railguns is far beyond what I consider steampunk.

So hi all. Looking to join the game, know most of you, eager to meet the rest. I need one more approval to get rolling. And since I've seen mods post here that haven't posted there I'd appreciate it if one of you could swing by the recruitment thread for me.

Hey Xon, good to see you.

Sorry! My bad here. I actually want the concept to be semi open. While gods cannot bestow the concept upon their children for free, if another race encounters the goblins and their weapons, they can choose to freely copy and use the weapons designs themselves. If this happens, I'm also fine with that races god using the concept in alchemical formula. Otherwise, closed
@Elricaltovilla: I hope you'll forgive me for the reactions of the humans...
But it's not as if they've ever seen Quartzians or speak the same language as them...

So Elemental, would you mind creating a god in the divine version of what happens when you burn hydrogen with oxygen? I hear you're the water guy in this here pantheon of light.

Kind of, but not officially. Though I did invent sailing.
Give me a moment to think of an appropriate method to bring Ame to life...
Also: @Mods: Would it be alright for me to create another organisation alongside the Tel'Velharan that exists solely as a political alliance of human city states?
Edit: Ame has been brought to life; forged from water vapour and refracted sunlight, given sentience and divinity by the spark of Velharan.
Edit2: @ Xondoure: A fledgling can only have one ability. Check the table in the first post for further information.

There should be some Common ground, since all mortals should probably be using Ing'dras written tongue.
Edit: Xondoure, as a fledgling god you can have one ability at most.
Xondoure: I think I got preempted with my comment: you may only have one ability.
As for the concepts... yes that's what I was saying when they were introduced - each other mod was silent though
Also Vylcent should note: Arlom is either incredibly forgiving, manipulative, or you have no idea what he's thinking: You burn down one of his great cities, steal people from him and even place escape routes within him...AND he still builds you a city when you ask.
Btw the 6 cities of Arlom are legendary in that mortals understand that they are probably the greatest cities in existence, and that mortal built cities are meager in comparison

I'm just assuming he really, really likes to build cities for races. And another problem with Veta was that it in and of itself seemed to put some humans above many others... but I guess capitalism just comes with the territory when you create humans in a Lords of Creation game.

Each City is special in it's own way. Veta was the perfect Human city while Karlik was the perfect Cystaline city, and Lisgovo is the perfect Foxkin city, etc.
And he does not like building cities for races... he likes building cities.
Don't worry, they'll just be Dire Dogs soon enough with domestication.
And as above:

@Elricaltovilla, As of my last post, Xia and Alynaia followed the Halcyon after it jumped. So if you want to have found us - and by extension the Halcyon and the Steelthorns - it's going to need 1 AP spent. Or you can call for us and we - well, Xia at least - will come to you.
