[Pathfinder or 3.5] PvP Dungeon Crawl (Looking for Players & Additional GMs)
I was thinking of running a massive dungeon crawl where at least two parties (each with their own DM) race to the bottom level. They could set traps for each-other along the way, or even fight.
To do this, we will need at least eight players and one other DM.
System: Pathfinder or D&D 3.5.
Player Count: 8 or more. 4-6 on each team.
Style of Play: Dungeon crawl where at least two parties race to the bottom, setting traps for each-other along the way and perhaps even fighting.
Allowed Content: Everything published by Paizo or the Wizards, depending on which edition we end up playing.
Character Creation:
Backstory: Make your character unique, but don't make a wall of text.
Experience: Level 3.
Wealth: 3,000 gp worth of equipment.
Ability Scores: 4d6b3 six times, put stats wherever you like. If your total result is lower than 65, or you have no stats equal to 14 or higher, you may re-roll.
Hitpoints/Health: Maximum at first level. Average (rounding down) after that.
Alignment: Anything is fine.
To get an idea of my DMing style, here is my profile:
Name: Chainsaw Hobbit (later to become Earl of Awesome).
Availability to Host Campaigns: Probably available.
Contact Information: Private forum message.
Posting Frequency: Once a day during the week, more on weekends.
Systems You Can Run: Labyrinth Lord, Swords & Wizardry, Blood & Treasure, New World of Darkness, Savage Worlds, Pathfinder (maybe), D&D 4e (maybe), Dungeon Crawl Classics, willing to learn new systems.
Preferred Campaign Types: Classic mega-dungeons, dark faerie tales, psychedelic romps, space fantasies, dark horror, winding forest labyrinths, dream-delves, and assassination missions.
Strengths: I'm good at coming up with fun scenarios, describing things in an entertaining way, facilitating character development, and making things immersive.
Weaknesses: Life sometimes catches up to me, causing me to stop posting for a few days. Also, my writing is inconsistent, ranging from awesome to mediocre. Some people find that I make my games too deadly.

Lol depends on the group, im pretty open, but i can be strict, and I am always fair. One thing that really yanks my chain though is people who deliberately try to break the game.

Re: [Pathfinder or 3.5] PvP Dungeon Crawl (Looking for Players & Additional GMs)
I think the GMs should all collaborate to build the dungeon. I would really like the monster, room, and item placements to make sense.
My DMing style could be said to be distant. I pride myself on my ability to be emotionally unbiased, and not to favor either side. I also tend to make things difficult, but not completely insurmountable. Expect character death to occur at least once.
Re: [Pathfinder or 3.5] PvP Dungeon Crawl (Looking for Players & Additional GMs)
I doubt you could be more deadly than my first DM. He had us draw from the deck of many things as Lvl 2 characters and it being our first time playing dnd... I drew the Death card twice (One with my first character, the second was with a new one).
I think I'll go with Barbarian for my pick. Can never have too much muscle you know.
Re: [Pathfinder or 3.5] PvP Dungeon Crawl (Looking for Players & Additional GMs)
This is intriguing, I'll have to check over the differences between Pathfinder and 3.5 for creation, but that should take thirty minutes at most. I don't quite know what I'll be playing, I'll probably decide from the rolls:
rolls are horrible, but I'm gonna be a Magic Blooded Kitsune Bard staying in fox form. And I'll be singing. it'll be a bit too feat heavy, but it's fairly necessary.

I don't know what made me laugh harder, the original post or Hbgplayer's response
One of the most interesting Derailments I've ever seen!
If my post contains any misspellings or formatting errors, please forgive me; I'm probably using my phone which has no spellcheck and makes me type out the format I want in my post.

So, not sure if you've already decided on participants, but I'd like to toss my hat in the ring.
I've been hoping to play a human bard (dervish dancer), focusing on melee attacks and combat maneuvers. A smattering of spells to boost effectiveness, but mostly a melee fighter with a twist. Honestly, probably not real powerful, but I think it'd be interesting.
Failing that, I'd probably go with an Oracle, eventually taking Sorceror and Mystic Theurge.
