The Gods most certainly are using homebrew, and if you'll recall, Hephaestus' aura is divine fire and not subject to resistance. He also has a plethora of fire based powers able to pierce immunity, and he might have used some, if he hadn't been beaten so fast. The lava stems from his death, similar to a Balor's death throes. Basically, it's coincidence that this is regular fire damage, because it's not like Hephaestus was planning to blow up. He expected to be blowing up others, and prepared for that eventuality.
Sneaky, do I still have time for an immediate action before Hecate crashes into me?

Last thing. How far away is Hephaestus's hammer? Did I manage to hold on to it during the explosion or do I have to pick it up somewhere?
If I need to pick it up, how far is it?

The last I recall seeing the hammer in use is when Hephaestus dropped it when you grabbed him. It should be on the ground, around 10 ft. from your current position.
Honestly, speed is probably better than coolness in general. Not that I expect everyone to post right away, but I've only been able to write one IC post this month, and it would be nice to have a somewhat faster pace. Don't worry about making every single post jaw droppingly cool, because there will be more than enough opportunities for that as time goes on.
That said, we all get writer's block sometimes. I certainly find it difficult to figure out how to respond to everyone's crazy antics sometimes(looking at you, Anecron).
Sorry, but really this combat has toned down the randomness.
My last post means I'm dancing and singing Opera. I'll probably continue next post too, but switch to a more invigorating song (Read: use my Soulbending to give +10 levels).
Yes that means I'm a Bard now
Oh, does every different Me get their own action? or do they share an action pool. It's not clear in Ozodrin (where I get that ability) whether or not it works.
Because out-of-combat they can react in real-time, rather than having 1 active body at any one time and the Actions/Round is how that body is used in 6 seconds (standing in one spot and making a face counts for Psionic/Magic stuff)

Hecate's not gonna love me after what I'm going to do to the ToS.

So sorry for the long wait, I'm really bust with a play at the moment, and the temporary forum shut-down delayed my post further. Hopefully you're all still here, and I can get several more posts in this month.
@Anecron: Although I don't remember exactly how the ability was worded, I'm inclined to say that you share an action pool, because otherwise that would be just frightening. So until I examine the ability again, assume it works this way.
Sinister Image (Su): An ozodrin of at least 19th level has a special connection with depictions of itself. As such it is able to detect any pictures, illusions, or other images depicting itself. This even extends to other beings attempting to scry it or view it through similar magical means. Furthermore, such images are treated as a part of the ozodrin itself. Due to this, it is able to move a feature with the shifting augment onto the depiction allowing it to attack, or otherwise interact with things there (in the case of scrying which does not create an image, the shifting feature may move within 5 feet of the one doing the scrying), though doing so requires using up 5 feet of its strange movement. If the ozodrin has no eyes in the area, it is treated as being blind there. Likewise if it has no means of hearing it is treated as being deaf there. Despite this, the ozodrin can sense if the image is being viewed. This ability only applies to images depicting the ozodrin itself, not images that just happen to look like it. Thus changing its form to look like someone in a painting does not allow it to use this ability with the painting.
I have enough Form Points to make a Shifting Everything on things that isn't me (my tentacles, any extra eyes etc). I have to buy a Head, Arms, Legs etc for any 2nd body (the reasons I'm not buying it for the 1st one is because I can sell my real body's normal features, then buy them back on my clone for 0 bonus or penalty)
Shifting Augment (the bits applicable):
Spoiler
Shifting Shape (Ex): An ozodrin of 17th level or higher is able to makes its body mutable. All features gain the Shifting augment. This augment adds 3 to the cost of the feature.
EDIT: Doesn't Korug have a feature to make him live for just one more round? I can heal him up and give him a boost with Soulbending if you want.
If not then redirect my next post onto the Star Child

Anecron, care for some baseball? You pick who's gonna be the ball (Hecate or Herc). I'll send the ball your way.

Hecate. I can keep up the Song to hurt Hercules no problem
But I'm dancing, I don't want to offend Pain... Hmm unless I have my other self do it? Because all he is doing is singing while I dance with the original.
Sure send Hecate over to me and I'll knock it back.
Full Round to the face followed by an Airblast for knockback

Sorry everyone
Second set(if it doesn't reroll miss chances, ignore this): (1d100)[78] (1d100)[58] (1d100)[60] (1d100)[55] (1d100)[2] (1d100)[60] (1d100)[60] (1d100)[94] (1d100)[54] (1d100)[90]
High is a miss, low is a hit.
@Anecron: I see nothing in the ability to suggest that you get any extra combat actions with it, it just says you are able to attack or interact with things using your sinister image. It doesn't say you get more actions to do that with.
Would have some weird interactions with Fast-Time Planes.
Also wow are those a lucky set of rolls. Lots of 50+
I reckon you can survive that Legomaster
@DM: Any chance I can use the equipment set out here
I'd calculate it all if you want.
It's basically Bricks /10 x3 to work out the cost (/10 because a standard Brick is 1 silver piece or 10/GP and x3 because it requires 1/3 base price in the Craft Skill to make something.
Flip that around and you get x3.
I'll even buy Korug any 2 Feats he wants (can't have Feat Prereqs) that allow him to survive for even a single round after 'death'
