Though I don't want it to be, I think it's pretty much curtains for this game if Waffle doesn't come back real soon. Would've loved some more RP as Grai, especially with Batrazaar. This is currently my only 4e game as well.

Also, when I mentioned bringing Grai, I mean that I'd like to play someone with her attitude and personality (pre-drama). Whether she would remain a half-orc or become something else depends on the game and I'd write a new or altered version of her backstory. I ain't into doing half-assed (and neither is she).
Also, leaving things open can be a good thing with this group, since we have been creating plot the whole time in a way. No reason to stop with that.
Oh, I thought I had that listed. 6-7 was my plan, I believe.
If it was, I totally missed it
If we end up doing this, I want to make a follower of Ioun, hiding their identity, but trying to still do good in the world, as well as trying to find other followers in hiding.
Honestly, I am tempted to play a tiefling paladin. This sounds like an amazing opportunity for a charismatic character. I am, to say the truth, leery about the stat rolling. Stat rolls have almost never been kind to me and often have killed some concepts for me.
edit: Saw that there apparently are no tieflings, or deva. Bard might also be a possibility (skills!), but I like the sturdiness and in your face stuff of strikers and defenders.

I was thinking a ranger of some sort or Religious class.......but a follower of Ioun none the less.
EDIT: Also, background and themes, are they legal? I love using them, just add another level of the RP, but that is just me.
EDIT: Also, what are your views on Hybrids or Multiclassing? I was thinking of doing some sort of Ranger/cleric Hybrid or Multiclass.....
Yeah, still, stat dice have screwed me over so often! It's not even funny.
I hear ya there. Maybe we can convince Sierim to let us point buy? Or at least not have them rolled up into Certain stats already, and let us just roll them, and then assign from there. Maybe, Maybe.....
Heh, the stats being rolled in order actually only limits you to 2 stats being stuck after rolling (6 stats, 2 pairs swappable). Here's an example set of stats before being rearranged:
(4d4b3)[8] + 6 STR = 14 (4d4b3)[7] + 6 CON = 13 (4d4b3)[8] + 6 DEX = 14 (4d4b3)[6] + 6 INT = 12 (4d4b3)[10] + 6 WIS = 16 (4d4b3)[11] + 6 CHA = 17
Remember, this is before racial modifiers, so you end up with a 19 and 18 in your primary/secondary stats. If you like, I'll calculate the point buy value and let you reroll if you roll below that value equivalent.
Edit: I forgot to mention that all official races/classes are legal. Sorry I didn't make that clear. "All other races are rarely seen" wasn't intended to mean "forbidden," just you won't find many (any?) NPCs of that race.
Just calculated. It's just slightly more than a 40 point buy.

I'd take those stats in a heartbeat. Well, I guess I should roll mine: (4d4b3)[8] + 6 STR (4d4b3)[7] + 6 CON (4d4b3)[5] + 6 DEX (4d4b3)[7] + 6 INT (4d4b3)[12] + 6 WIS (4d4b3)[8] + 6 CHA
