Default Maquise's Drawings (I take Character Requests) - Please Comment!

In a spirit of learning and improving my skills, I decided to start my own drawing thread, so that I may get some good critiques. I'll post any drawings I've made, along with taking any requests for characters. Be warned: I can't give a time frame on characters, and promise no quality assurance if you ask me to color them.

My first two:

Mirabelle

Karrin Ye

EDIT: Now shaded!

Hey marquise! I got a request for ya. I once had a war forged fighter that threw war hammers. He's about 6'1", wide shoulders and heavily built. By the end of the campaign, he was dual weiling his throwing-war hammers and had an eyepatch, a forehead bandana( like snake from metal gear solid) and an oven mit on his left hand. I will leave the rest of the details up to you.

May the force be with you

EDIT: i was rushing before so i didn't get to say this, but i think that you drawings are really good. i like the style a lot.

Thank you very much for the feedback! I whipped out a quick sketch; if you like it, I'll make a shaded version.

i like it! the only thing is that the eye patch is more like a pirates, as opposed to a robot. but other than that small discrepancy, it is fantastic and i would love to see a shaded version!

EDIT: Oh! also don't forget the bandana. it's very important, it gives him the right to rule over a dwarven street gang

Okay, Maquise, I got something for you. Do you take non-character drawing requests? I have a symbol I'd like to see made, and I no can art.

Okay, cool.

The idea is this: you know the yin-yang symbol? How it's light-dark, and they define each other? I want something sort of like that, only the light and dark are both human profiles, one male and one female. He's the dark/yang part, and she's the light/yin part. The profiles aren't real detailed, just enough to show that they're male and female humans. (or elves, if elves are easier; I'm not picky about which).

The form is fairly basic right now; I didn't want to go into too much detail until I knew you liked it. I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out, though.

I have a new idea.

What if I drew an original monster, and the Playground came up with the stats and fluff for it? It could be a contest of sorts, maybe the winner could have a custom pic made for them.

Does the lizard have any clothes, or carrying anything?

Also, I've decided that the member that stats my monsters can pick a theme for the next one.

ICk...I forget on of the Main things, But no, He does not need to be drawn with any weapons.
And Clothes...I would say none, And Refrance Thishttp://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0738.html (First 2 panals) But I think a Loin cloth would work fine.

Shadow, I'll get that to you as soon as I can, but I'm not practiced in reptile anatomy, so I'm having a bit of difficulty, and may end up making several attempts.

In the meantime, here is the first of my monsters:

Looking good, Though, The Pose is a little odd, He is supposed to be upright, Though this will work fine.

As I've been drawing and trying to incorporate all of his systems, I've noticed that your character's drawing is getting really busy really fast. I won't be able to fit everything in. What do you really want?

Well... Solion's Wrathful Cage, Feet of Fury, Eyes of Seeing, Grappling Hand, Antimagic Crystals (kinda), Legs of Incredible Reflexes, Casque of Indomitable Will and Back Armour Plate don't really take up any position that you wouldn't have to draw anyway.

The Distortion Engine and Zephyrus' flaming arrow should sit one on each shoulder. The Inferno Engine doesn't really take up much space, the wings shouldn't be too hard to fit in, the arm shield is the only thing on the left hand, and he can only have one Right-Hand system out at once - I like the idea of either.

Specifically, what is clashing with what?
