History
Since the moment Sung could walk all knew there was something unique about the boy, he was suffused with energy, always questing, constantly searching. It came as no suprise to all of the Tireless Cog tribe when he was successfully implanted with a Binding Stone of Lightning. This has only added to his restless nature. He has won much glory in his time, but still the young man yearns.
Personality
Sung is brash, combative and something of a loner. This does not prevent him from working with other Stonebearers, it simply makes it difficult.

Oops, missed the naming conventions in the descriptions of notable people.

You seem to have spent 4 BP you didn't have to to get Dex 4. Your 6 dots for choosing that as Primary will let you get that distribution.
Indeed I did. Fixed
Quote:
You don't need to buy a dot of Linguistics to speak Taken - you get your native language for free, just like every other character.
It's been a VERY long time between Exalted games. And my last game used the OWoD Language rules

You seem to have only spent 20 out of your 25 Ability dots before you started spending BP.
Indeed I seem to have done that. Fixed
Quote:
You have 8 dots of Backgrounds with no notes about spending BP on it.
Fixed

What's his Lightning Focus in?
Wasn't aware that I needed a ability to focus on, reread the charm rules, and fixed.

Control starts at 10 and depletes down.
Leftover from my general Exalted sheet. Fixed
Quote:
First, why did your character decide to become a Dominus? He risked death and suffered terrible pain for power, why did he want it so badly?
Penance, venegance. He saw his hunting party cut to ribbons by a horde of bladelings, now he seeks revenge, and power by hunting the very things that decimated his former partners. There also might have been a girl involved.
Quote:
Second, what does your character do to support himself?
Thought that was clear enough, he is a hunter of well, everything. What he kills he brings back to the tribe and sells. There is presumably a use for exmachina parts, biodroid skins and so forth. Mostly he leads elemental hunts for the manufacture of more Binding Stones.
Quote:
Third, what does your character want out of life and why?
To become the greatest hunter of his people, to be the best of all time. One day perhaps to hunt even the The Great Taker himself. Why is more complex, He himself doesn't know why he seeks this path only that maybe in some way he might make up for those lives he has destroyed.
And here's the redo. Thanks for making me do it. Makes it less numbers more visceral.
Spoiler
Rolf Hesser
Motivation
To become the greatest hunter of the Taken
History
Since the moment Rolf could walk all knew there was something unique about the boy, he was suffused with energy, always questing, constantly searching. He began his search on long hunts into the dark tunnels. On one of these he saw his hunting party cut to ribbons by a horde of bladelings, now he seeks vengance, penance and power by hunting the very things that decimated his former partners. It came as no surprise to all of the Tireless Cog tribe when he was successfully implanted with a Binding Stone of Lightning. Many wonder though if his reasons were entirely pure. The stone has only added to his restless nature. He has won much glory in his time, but still the young man yearns. But now the yearning is harder in its nature. Rolf is now a hunter of well, everything. What he kills he brings back to the tribe and sells. Mostly he leads elemental hunts for the manufacture of more Binding Stones. Rolf's goal is now to become the greatest hunter of his people, to be the best of all time. One day perhaps to hunt even the The Great Taker himself. And on that day, well who know what will happen. Why Rolf does this is more complex, he himself doesn't know why he seeks this path only that maybe in some way he might make up for those lives he has destroyed. The people he has deprived of companions.
Personality
Rolf is brash, combative and something of a loner. This does not prevent him from working with other Stonebearers, it simply makes it very difficult.

I just put up the OOC thread at like 2 in morning last night, but yeah, things have been going slow. A third character would certainly be welcome.
What I meant was that I expected the game to have already started. Still, lucky me gets to join anyway, so I can't complain.
Besides, it is a good read, all 100 pages and it's nicely edited. In fact it's been edited better than Nocturnals.
I'm not sure how much of a once over you want to give it Kyuedo, so I'll just post it here for now and copy it over to the OOC in a few hours if I hear nothing back.
Here goes:
Spoiler
Name: Diemut Essert
Diemut was always a little odd as a child. Quiet and calm but not obedient she undoubtedly gave her mother (an Alchemist & guilds woman) many a headache. Not the she'd put others in danger, but Diemut would often go and...well watch things. It was as if she was trying to finish a puzzle This trait became more noticeable as she got older. It didn't stop until after she was bonded to her stone but often her softly spoken apologises got her out of trouble.
Prior to her following her uncle's foot steps however, Diemut was a fine student study thaumaturgy. In particular, wards were a favourite of hers. It was fully expected that she was to join her mother's guild and profession, albeit with a slightly different area of focus. Not many how she was going off and practising with her uncle's soul-steel pike.
So it was to be a bit of a surprise when, on her birthday Diemut appeared before the council early in the morning and asked to join the ranks of the Domini, long dead uncle's binding stone in hand. As the old saying goes, Still oil seeps deeply.
From Diemut's perspective, it was always a foregone conclusion. Growing up, Uncle Sigmund was the closest thing to a father figure she had, (her real father was member of a travelling tribe). He told all sorts of stories about the Sliver Lady from before the First Offense and the great explorers who blazed trails into the Great Taker. She had always wanted be among them one day.
Now she can, but first her tribe needs her.
Motivation: To Discover a better way of life for her Tribe
Appearence: Her silky, wavy soot black hair is often slicked back with a diluted form of the lubricating oils that rain down upon the Tribes home. Her wide blue eyes constantly searching, watching for something. Her wardrobe is simple and practical

I love it!
Now of course you realize I must incorperate Diemut into my sheet. Probably an Intimacy *Diemut Essert [Annoyance]
Rolf is quite an abrassive jerk sometimes. Yah he's the kind of character everyone's character hates, but the kind who makes for interesting stories.
