Hm... on the fort I'll have an avoid of 69, meaning the with True Hit the great knight will only have a 25.66% chance of hitting at least once on the counter. I wont be able to wipe him out this turn since he has 1 too high speed for me to double him, but I will be in a strong position to recieve the enemy on their turn

I'll keep the move, unless someone else thinks there is a better one

Bergliot deploys on [I10]: moves to [G12] and attacks Warrior #2 [H13] with Shine
Aida deploys on [I14]: moves to [G13] and attacks Warrior #2 [H13] with Hand Axe

Ideally I'd have a unit on H12 to stop the assassin from getting at Bergliot, but we'll see how things turn out.

Well we only have one recover staff, so we have to be really worried about uh... Cleric-Valkyrie, Cleric-Bishop, Priest-Bishop, Priest-Sage, Troubadour-Mage knight, and Troubadour-Valkyire, because they have berserk staves and we're pretty screwed if one of those ever connects and Meimi isn't in range.

Otherwise, we're going to (possibly) suck down a load of bolting and purge long range damage this round; nothing we can do to mitigate that.

This turn is basically us trying to kill as many targets as possible while avoiding return damage (so we can weather the siege magic and survive the enemy phase) and staying out of berserk range.

Preliminary thoughts (didn't do all the calculations yet)... may have forgotten characters too.

Lu deploys on [I14], moves to [D17] and attacks Bishop #2 with Javelins

If you see something that I didn't or have an alternate idea of how to do things, shoot. I'm not convinced that this is the best, or even a good, way to handle the map.

The objective is survive. The castle gate is just to have a base of sorts.

Does everyone but Herp agree with this plan?

Okay, I have finished the player phrase of the first turn, and things went bad for you guys.

Bishop 2 is still up. (Sairyu forgot/didn't notice that he was on a mountain tile, and thus had +30 avoid)

Summoner 2 is still up. (The Summoner managed to hit both Silas and Meimi with Nosferatu.)

Bold couldn't enter melee with the Great knight 5. Which hit him both times with the brave bow. But Great knight 5 is still dead.

Assassin 1 is still up.

Tara is dead. (The assassin got silencer on the counter-attack.)


So yeah..... That turn happened.

The wyvern knight's lance cut through Gerald's robe and left a deep gash on his side. He grimaced with pain and grabbe hold of the shaft, channeling his magic down it and into the attacker. The wyvern convulsed and fell over on its side, while the charred rider was thrown several meters backwards by the shock.

"Let that be your lesson for attacking one so far your better." Gerald sneered.

((I'd suggest we try to get to a more defensible position. Either the forts to to south or the trees to the east.))

It was a mountain tile? I see.

Oh well. That turned out poorly. Looks like we're going to be running around the top of the castle to avoid Lu Bu's wrath (until he gets picked off by enemies or falls prey to Summon Hate).

Nadir moves to [H11] and attacks Wyvern Knight #2 with Shortbow

Aida stomps Hero #2 with the Swordslayer, cantos to [I10]

Bergliot to [H10] -> Berserk vs Assassin #1 (cannot miss: 104% final accr)

Akimao sits on that throne with his full HP and hits the Berserker with a 74% killer spear x2.

Silas... wishes that he had a Nosferatu tome. Moves somewhere and summons I guess, assuming that priority is vs summoned units? Maybe it goes and attacks Ranger #3 just to put some added damage chances on it.

Gerald and Meimi try to finish off Ranger #3 and canto out of Lu's range.



Otherwise I wish we had some Elixirs.

The original plan was to clear out the threatening enemies in the South and hold the 3-fort area, but uh... that's not happening now.

Devil axe is pretty good.

Also, I dunno why Assassin #1 didn't go for Sage #4 (berserked enemy units still prioritize us?), since it's reachable with the wind-sword.

Well... Bergliot [restore]: Lu
Meimi heals Lu (mend); cantos to [F14]
Lu to [K14] rescues Akiamo; cantos onto the castle tile [K13] and equips Javelin
Aida kills the assassin with the Sword Slayer and cantos to [K15]

So everyone's pretty much going to die in 2 turns regardless. I'm just going to pile everyone onto Akimao to try and keep him alive/on the castle tile. Unless anyone else has an idea, this map's pretty much over.

Yeah, but a Nosferatu would have done Silas good, even though he would have taken a speed hit. But I suppose it wouldn't have been so bad if the Phantom hadn't gotten Devil Haxed.

Ad let's not get started on my having only one sword user because I wanted every player (at the time) to have a character on the map.
