Picked up Chivalry a couple days ago. It's great fun! Sort of like Mount & Blade, except multiplayer-only and much prettier. So, like War of the Roses, only in my opinion the melee combat is executed better. It's a pretty damn fun game, when people don't run around teamkilling just to troll, or ignore the server rules.

I've kinda been wanting to play it. I haven't found a good capital ship simulator in a while.

Did the Ghastly Gibus ever remove someone from the rolls of the Poor Irishmen? Quite a few people I've talked to feel that it doesn't, because of how dirt-common it is, and I think the Gibus was the first hat I ever got.

It doesn't because you get it from a dominantion, and it isn't craftable.

It's farmable.

The (Ghastly) Gibus is a Poor Irishman's hat. The Ghastlierest is less Poor and Irish due to coming from the Time Before F2P, but still not prestigious.

I have played it.

If you have nostalgia for the original you should get it yeah.

If you like current RTS's, both macro (like SupCom) or micro (like SC2), you probably won't like it. In Carrier Command you get a grand total of 8 units from two unit types. You customize them sure, but they are still two unit types.

Even if you feel no problem with the above you should wait a bit so they can patch out a lot of the bugs. Right now the pathfinding sucks. Yeah, the pathfinding in an RTS sucks.

Plus, it's singleplayer only.
