--If yes, wielder makes an attack with the shield, if he beats the opponents attack by 4 or more, the shield is hit, if not, resolve attack normally.
--If no, reduce wielder's AC by 4
--If don't care, roll d%, on a 70% or less, the shield is struck.
---If the shield is struck, roll d% to determine the result.
1. Daisies sprout forth 20 ft radius on floor surface around shield. After 2 rds, they burst in flames causing in area to make DC 12 Reflex negate or 1d4 fire

Re: Goblins X: Orcs fall, everybody dies (horribly)
There's something in front of some of the specks of blood flying out of Duv. I think it's more likely that it's light than some of the rapids managed to bounce up to Duv's shoulder's height. And, the scene just got way darker. This would happen when a reflection from the water shoots directly into the 'camera' and it auto-adjusts.
Which would, normally, be an odd thing to happen in a drawn comic, but we know Thunt hired a guy specifically to play with light and shadow.
Speaking of which, we can always have Morikahn settle this for us, presuming he follows us to the new thread. Morikahn, help us!
Re: Goblins X: Orcs fall, everybody dies (horribly)
Sun reflecting in water, passing through blood. Scene darkened to make light brighter. Mostly used to highlight the action of the scene. In reality, such a bright shot would have completely blown out any detail in the characters, but I didn't want to lose Duv's facial expressions.
Or, it could be a magical explosion, and cracking the wing bone of Duv has granted Biscuit a magical wish.
Re: Goblins X: Orcs fall, everybody dies (horribly)
I gave the name to the new thread! Cool...

Well, the final result is amazing!

Its not that simple.

Kills horribly is there, and may or may not be winning against klik. She may be forced to use it against kills horribly to drive him off. Even if she doesnt end up destroying the orb to stop kills it will still take time. Time which leaves an opening for anyone else to get the orb. Also, where is biscut going? Is he all done and now going off into the wilds on his own? Will he meet up with everyone later?

Well, I concede that the combat scenario is still evolving, but i woud tend to consider Biscuit out of the game (at least for now). To climb the cliff without a leg, it's a long way...

Re: Goblins X: Orcs fall, everybody dies (horribly)
what's that fleshy thing on the final pannel? It's dies' colour and it's shaking like he does, but it's pretty bug and seems to have a missing portion on the left side of it, and i'm pretty sure Dies is neither facing in that direction nor has that much arm left.
Re: Goblins X: Orcs fall, everybody dies (horribly)
Possible small continuity issues aside, it's obviously supposed to be Dies' arm. Hence the pointed presence of both it and the limb-restoring Orb of Bloodlight in one panel.

Sure he does. Looks to me like he amputated it at an angle starting just below his elbow. That being said, it does look a little wonky in today's panel. Keep in mind that Tarol had to draw this page with a crap-tastic video card so this is probably the best he can do with what he's got.

Then Dies Horribly will go in kung fu kick on that green thing. I wonder if Dies Horribly meant "If you mess with him, you will die horribly".

Depends on how quickly Dies gets control of his new arm, actually. Given that there's a high chance it's mere presence will be deadly to Kills Horribly... Klik may not be dead yet...

No, Dies horribly died horribly. Though I suppose it could take on a new meaning now, but prophetically speaking, Dies name was fairly straightforward.
