can we roll for the Japan only sets?(most of the Japan only ones came with only 5 cards per pack according to the wiki, with english sets usually being two Japanese sets combined, with the cards per pack increased to 9)
I do sort of like the idea of rolling for cards in a smaller, more specific set, but wasn't 100% sure what the Gm's ruling on that bit is.
I can say for sure the 8 rolls was a typo. We checked and saw there are 9 cards/pack but between my appointment and getting back from it yesterday, we were both too weary to change that. So it is 9/pack thus 9 rolls ....
I'll let him decide on the Japanese packs though if he said stick to 2002-2003 packs, lest you go for a very specific card, I'd stay with those.

I wanted to ask, because the DM mentioned it before, but when it comes to dueling, could we maybe not require the DM to be present for every duel? I think it should be satisfactory for pvp duels if we just get another player to sit in as a witness or something like that.

edit: also, should we make a thread for cases where we end up wanting to run a duel but can't meet up for using DN?, I just realized there's no reason we couldn't use both a pbp method and DN(play-by-post may also be useful for duels that might end up with a lot of roleplaying, since it's somewhat awkward to rp on DN)
I was just watching for the most part, since the game is more player driven then DM driven with duels/interactions/etc I'll post up some plot in a sec, just gotta pull up the plot sheets and figure out which one sounds funner.

Sorry I haven't been on much lately, they changed up my roster at work for a bit but it's settled back down to normal now.

To prevent re-rolls, we used to strike out drawn cards, renumber the deck and roll the new deck size. So while the first 5 would be 5d40 with rerolls, the first draw would roll 1d35, the next 1d34 and so on.
Is Jar of Greed really useful for you Necron? I understand the idea is to generate hand advantage to better utilize Muka Mukas but you are using a card to draw a card which is mathematically (-1 to +1) so while it might be useful for thinning the deck, or maybe bluffing it won't make your hand count any higher. Plus it's a trap so it has a decent capacity to be negated before or during activation. Just curious about your reasoning.
