What's with this show and taking a long time to get new episodes out?
It's not the only show that keeps doing this. New season of Green Lantern TAS only just started, and episode 3 has been postponed until March. Tron: Uprising was postponed for months and is only starting up again at the end of month.

Well it is a shame for whatever the reason. The animation is really good, it's genuinely funny and entertaining, and it has half-hour episodes unlike most other current TV animated shows that are only 15 minutes.
Looking through its history, apparently that Wikipedia page has had unsourced information and badly-formatted rumours added repeatedly, and apparently it got me... I think the release date isn't known yet.
Now, who wants to put on blindfolds and get into my car?

Alex Hirsch's twitter seems to corroborate that the release date being up in the air is indeed the case.

Frankly, a Wizard can suck even more than a Fighter could ever dream of sucking. A Fighter can stab himself to death, but only a Wizard could Plane Shift to some horrible far realm to be tortured for an eternity of insanity.
Hey! Disney Channel can't spend any time on Gravity Falls when it has much better shows to focus on like Dog with a Blog.
I actually like Dog with Blog, the episodes I saw at least (I rarely catch it on though).
Gravity Falls is way way better, but D w/ B is entertaining to some degree.
Alex Hirsch has recently stated that new episodes are coming in early 2013. I'm glad the show is still alive. I discovered it this Wednesday and have already watched every episode.
