It would be pretty awesome to have a game in the Adventure time setting using GURPS rules, but I'm not quite competent enough with the system to GM it, so I need someone else to run it.
Stuff that I would love to be in the game:
Spoiler
System: GURPS 4e Player Count: 4-6? Style of Play: Something silly Allowed Content: Up to the GM.

Backstory: At least a little bit.
Points: 250
Other Notes: Everything else is up to the GM.
Well, let's try and set up a way to sorta-emulate the kingdom inhabitance, then move on to monsters. Things like making good-ish Fire People or Candy people and such.
Also, I say that the candy people could be put into three catagories to save time: Soft, Moderate, and Hard.

I think it would work best if the DM statted out all necessary monsters and we as players made racial templates for things. Besides Candy folk are varied enough that each Candy Person's template should be different.
Re: [GURPS] Adventure Time! [GM and Players Wanted]
I'm interested. Haven't read the GURPS rules fully yet, but I get the gist of it.
I'd recommend not worrying about race. Races in Ooo are so diverse that we might as well just have each player make up their own race and take whatever skills/powers they need to make it work.

That's my plan at least. I'm currently working on a Vampire.
Re: [GURPS] Adventure Time! [GM and Players Wanted]
K, Assuming a 125 point disadvantage limit.
Heres my Idea for a race, They call themselves? The Grim.
Advantages[120];
Unfazeable +15
Unaging +15
Body of Stone [10, Cannot Change] +60
Body of Fire [10, Cannot Change] +30
Disadvantages [-125];
No Sense of Humor -10
Weirdness Magent -15
Depandancy (Powerstone, Daily) -60
Hideous -16
Vunrabillity [Alchohol, 7 Hex range, 3] -25
Used the 3e supers handbook for most of them, but are there any firendly magma guys in Adventure time? Anycase, I shall not join ye at the Tavern. 3d damage from being within 7 hex's of booze means I must frequent health bars, where my psionic enlightmenment may advance

In 4e, Body of stone is a 140 point advantage and Body of Fire is a 6 point advantage and both are always on. I imagine there are some more point discrepancies that I'm not seeing right now. Besides a Fire Person would probably fit in better.

Well, there are those molten guards in the fire kingdom.
Dungeon Wizard is a odd fellow. Dispite his name, he is mildly well known amongst fellow magic users because of his sheer age: some think that he was one of the first to make a home out of the expansive tunnels the old world left, and is easily one of the most aware of the caverns and old-world structures below Ooo. Short, squat, and covered in filthy rags, most would think him some sort of dwarf until they see his pale grey skin and pupiless eyes. At that point, most would call him some sort of freaky mutent halfling/gnome/goblin and walk off. To be fair, he thinks of himself as a Wizard.
Dungeon Wizard has access to a surprisingly large amount of wealth, knowing how much relics are worth to certiant members of Ooo's royalty, and his inherent mutations gives him almost simian grace when it comes to jumping and moving in the rusty old deathtraps of Under-Ooo. However, he has a very importent object close to him: a large grey ring on his seventh finger on his right hand. He does not remember where he found it, exactly, but likes to say that he found it as a boy in a old abandoned place deep underground.
Advantages: 310

Disadvantages: 60
Spoiler

My edited Grim. A Deep dwelling subspecies of Troll. That okay?
Edit; Last edit, maybe buy 2 things of toughness or DR? Whats the 4e costs?
Backstory;
Spoiler
Deep below the surface of the world, the Deep Trolls set up their forges. Giants formed from the primordial earth, their minds are like iron, and they do die of mere age. Calling themselves the Grim, this branch of the troll family is infamous for their metal and stonework, wispering dark chants and fell curses into the very anvil and hammers of their trade. All that is commonly known is that they forge the best, if you are willing to meet their price...
Matt Burnrune, is somewhat old, though young by the estimations of his kind. Exiled to the surface world, he strives to regain his honor, and further his craft.

One question: do you watch adventure time? Otherwise, your question about friendly fire people is odd. Also, magic is...special in it, and might not be aproprite for what your going for.
Also, a guess: Is this what a Grim would normaly look like?

Re: [GURPS] Adventure Time! [GM and Players Wanted]
So, I read the GURPS lite pdf (or at least everything up to "skills". Still need to read the combat rules) but I've yet to see anything for magic. How does it work in this system?

There are some sparse rules at the bottom of the PDF, but I too would like some expert advice on the matter.
Neverless, considering this is Ooo, I would say that if one wished to make a magic-using charecter, one might as well build a theme around a choice subject.

Also, unaging human... would that be allowed?
....A unaging mutent, probably.
