Re: UKitP XII - On the twelfth Meetup of Christmas...
I would totally watch that, especially the scene where they come alive in someone's stomach and claw their way out in a rainbow coloured scene of extreme gore. ^_^

*insert evil laugh*
you'll WISH they clawed their way out...
Re: UKitP XII - On the twelfth Meetup of Christmas...
Those of you coming in Friday afternoon evening - Could I get a list of times?
I'm thinking we could that evening go to what looks like a reasonably nice restaurant place / weatherspoons, depending on people's preferences, followed by going to a fun teeny little place known as Speekeasy, which has videogame inspired cocktails and a few boardgames to play. And, it's about 2/3 minutes from Premier Inn/Train station at most.

With a bit of luck, I should be getting into Leicester around 6.30 Friday evening.

By which I mean train times, not the very building blocks of chronology. Although that'd be cool!
That's a shame, because (assuming I get confirmation that my holiday dates are booked- which should happen by the end of the week at the latest) I'd hoped to turn up in Leicester three years into the hundred years war.
Re: UKitP XII - On the twelfth Meetup of Christmas...
Me and Thufir should be getting into Leicester at 18:23 on the Friday.

I think I'll be running my critically acclaimed adventure Dwarves against the Apocalypse. It's about a hold of Dwarves in a tenuous peace with a school of magic that was built upon the foundations of Dwarven civilisation.

Re: UKitP XII - On the twelfth Meetup of Christmas...
I finish either 1 or 2 (more likely 2pm) depending on what optional modules I end up deciding on. So will be wandering down to the station / premier inn for about 2:20/2:30.

There's a fair few of us turning up between 1pm and 2pm. If our gracious hostess may suggest a tavern nearby, that might serve as a meeting point for us.

Re: UKitP XII - On the twelfth Meetup of Christmas...
There's pubs around that are a couple of minutes away - the Weatherspoons is pretty good. Speekeasy is unfortunately not open 'til 4, so that won't be viable at 1-2pm.
To get to Spoons, you go towards the road with the "Blunts Hoes" (Blunts Shoes) shop, visible from outside the train station and premier inn, then continue down the road (Granby Street) along the left side until you reach Spoons. It's "The Last Plantagenet", quite a big dark blue thing. It's one of the possibilities of food for the evening, along with the various little restaurants along the road.

Re: UKitP XII - On the twelfth Meetup of Christmas...
I've finally confirmed that I've got the dates of the meetup off from work- now to deal with accommodation... Does anyone have a spare bed going in exchange for half the cost of the room or anything like that?
