Go nuts on the Star Player. One match only, so knock yourselves out. Though I am guessing most will be electing to go for the SPP's if they participate.

Also, I can't believe you are passing up +1 ST for your Ogre. You realize that gives him 3 dice on the majority of his blocks, and 2 dice against other big guys? At least 1 on 1. I think it is a big reason for Bull's success, though he ended up getting block too, so maybe not. Though block IS really nice to have.

Also also, holy cow at the Rivermens' team casualty and ko totals in the league leaders. I have feeling that is about to slow down big time. I just realized the Rivermen had all 4 AV7 teams to start the season. Going to be a bit harder to break armor for the rest of the season. Time for the Rivermen to come back down to earth.

It is. I figured I have enough players with Guard that, as useful as the +1 STR is, I'll feel the benefit of Block more. Also, I don't think my TV needs bloating any further right now... but I'm not 100% decided yet; I'll think on it for a couple of days.

+STR is probably the right call; block is important for the ogre, but doubles are a lot more common than boxcars. Odds are decent you'll get another set of doubles for him before he is gone.
