Also, I could have sworn that the curtains in Seer:Descend suggested there were only four acts (and three intermissions) in act 6.

It could be that intermissions don't count, so we eventually get up to A6A6?
Whereupon we shall delve into A6A6A1 and so on.
Supposedly, A7 is an epilogue, so A6A6 if there is one may well be the Final Battle type thing.

I'm still a supporter of the idea that all Act6's will be divided into 7 parts, of which the 6th subact will then be divided into 7 parts and so on "all the way down". Fractal acts!

Rechecked and there are 5 sets of open green curtains, 1 set of closed green curtains and no marker for the felt intermission.
So I get the impression there are 5 acts in the Dirk/Roxy/Autoresponder/TheOtherOneswhoevencares universe that are somehow similar, followed by one that's not. Probably meaning one more part to act 6 before act 7.
And if all the loose wibbly-wobbly unclear stuff still in the story is supposed to come to a head in A6, that means one big part to A6 before A7.

Final Battle in A6A6A6, followed by cascading denouements in A6A6A7, A6A7, and A7?
Also these last updates have been pretty cool. Not sure what to say about them.
New theory: Caliborn/LE sucked up the red star, landed in the dream bubbles on a red quest bed and is walking toward this red glowy thing because as a foil to the most important character ever, he has an uncontrollable urge to eat red things.
Addendum to new theory: The Mayor is the most important character ever.

No, Hussie already told us that Gamzee is the most important character in Homestuck.
Theory: Gamzee is responsible for the whimsical and nonsensical rules that governed Caliborn and Calliope's upbringing.

But yes, it's been pretty clear to me for some time now, that Gamzee somehow engineered the creation of Caliborn/Calliope, or at least played a major role in the process.
Guess we're about to find out if Gamzee is really god-tier or not.

The problem with the more recent editions of D&D is that at some point the term 'player empowerment' was twisted to mean 'player entitlement.'
Personal theory: Gamzee is going to be using time-travel altselves in order to convince Caliborn that he is god tier and thus unkillable for the time being. This is why gathering the regalia was important.

Why was that so funny? I honestly don't know whether it was the out-of-nowhere-ness of it all, Gamzee's flailing about, or what.
It really shouldn't be funny. But it was.
it was funny, because it was like, going to be the usual "rpg" thing and then NOPE! just a bunch of gunfire at the end, at the very first person Caliborn even saw in his entire life.
also, I bet Lord English commanded Gamzee to put on that outfit and go be his younger self's guide, so that his younger self will kill him.
The best part was that last little burst after everything was done.
"Okay, I suppose that was enough... wait..."
Rat-a-tat-tat!
"Okay, that was enough. Nah..."
Rat-a-tat-tat!
"Fine. That was..."
Rat-a-tat-tat!
Okay. Bored now.

Ah, yes. "Art", an abstract term capable of turning products corrupted by laziness and arrogance into masterpieces that are not merely immutable, but inherently justified.
Just for fun - Gamzee's horoscope in my local newspaper today:
"CAPRICORN: Anyone who thinks you are a bit of a cold fish will be proved wrong over the next 24 hours. Yes, it’s true, you have been a bit distant of late but now you are ready to get involved and start sharing again."
