Harnel gives the fey one last wave goodbye before going with Cessie, Methil, and the guards. If asked, he'll explain in detail (leaving out the night of truth and transformation he shared with Sabrina) what happened during his time away

I'm sure Harnel leaves out a lot of details from his little story. Needless to say his wife is rather concerned about his current lack of wings. So worried she isn't going to poke at the holes in what he told her or why he left them there for now. "We're going to fix the wings Harnel, don't worry. If not here, we can do it in the nexus." She says as they are about to reach the first signs of civilization.
Harnel smiles to Cessie. He's not going to say anything along the lines of "I know" or "Thanks". The entrety of his appreciation is encompased in his somewhat tired expression; he does, in fact, want to get his wings back, after all.
he moves to hold her hand as he turns to ask Methil, "So, what do you think of the twins?"

Methil looks a bit surprised that Harnel suddenly talks to him after only listening in the parts of Harnel's and Cessie's conversation. "Ah... they're cute." He replies with a smile. "Somewhat unexpected though."
"I think most of my family thought that." Cessie comments briefly.
"I see. And how would you like being told you were imaginary, hm? Especially if, most of the time, people didn't even realize you were alive."
Blank's eyes widen in fear.
No, no! I wasn't talking about her! I meant it would look weird talking to myself, and... I didn't mean it like that!

Naera sighs, going to gently hug the Tiefling.
"Calm down, liasa-veleen. I'm not going to hurt you. The only time I might ever do so is in practices, and then only as part of the sparring."

Thel keeps his arms in tight to block the blows, and in one final desperate move, tosses his coat at Rogar and makes a reach for his foil.
Rogar swings his staff at the coat, trying to catch it and then fling it into Thel's face. A distract like the coat works both ways, as Rogar didn't notice the reach, but the coat might leave Thel open to a staff strike.

"Admittedly, we probably should have mentioned it to someone both in this world and mine, but... well, communication across planar boundaries is a bit difficult," He shrugs, "Has Bastion grumped at you yet?"

Thel catches the coat, but rather than throw it back pulls it away to reveal his foil replaced and lunging directly at Rogar! "Have at you!"
Arm pulled back, lunging forward? Looks like just the opening Rogar was looking for. Rogar himself replies with a lunge of his own, trying to get his staff to Thel's chest before Thel's foil connects. We may have to go to the judges on this one if both of these fighters connect.
"Calm down, liasa-veleen. I'm not going to hurt you. The only time I might ever do so is in practices, and then only as part of the sparring."
She hugs back hesitantly.
Liasa-what?

Naera holds her tightly, though not uncomfortably, smiling a bit.
"Liasa-veleen. It means 'little sister'."

"You're only interested in close-up weapons right now, right?"

I guess... Maybe a ranged weapon cold be a good starting attack? I'm not really sure.
Blank leans into Naera, more comfortable.

"Hm... What do you think of this, then?", Naera inquires, pulling a somewhat odd-looking weapon out of a satchel on her shoulder, though she leaves her free arm around Blank as she does.

The two lunge at each other! Thel may be fast but Rogar's staff has reach on it. The staff connects with the hare-man before the foil reaches the staff wielder.
Thel steps back and extravagently bows to Rogar. "Your win, friend." Raising up he waves to the Judges. "I concede the match."

She turns it over in her hands. What does it shoot?

"Well, thank you. I haven't had a chance to let out some steam for a while."
Rogar leans on his staff, as the haste potion wears off, leaving him gasping.
She turns it over in her hands. What does it shoot?
"Monomolecular wires. It knits them into a really sharp barbed wire net that's flung at the person, essentially."

Ouch. She flinches. That would be cool, but I think It's against the rules.

"Why? It's not like it's lethal or anything. The group I got it from uses them for capturing people."

[Hestopia]
He laughs nervously, "Not exactly. I didn't even know babies could be grumpy."
It's at this point, as they close in on the settlements outside the city walls, one of the guards holds out his arm in front of Harnel. "You came here with a eldritch disguse correct? You should put that on now." It's more of an order then a suggestion however which causes Cessie to frown.
Harnel simply nods and reaches into a coat pocket to pull out the Softhand gloves. He pulls them on and after a moment, he looks entirely human; surprisingly like he could be Cessie's brother, though I believe I've mentioned that before. His clothes also adjust for his body, to make sure he doesn't have holes where there shouldn't be.
"Always feels weird to have normal feet," Indeed, the foot wraps he was wearing before have, once more, turned into a pair of fur lined boots.

The mage raises an eyebrow, "That's your human illusion Harnel? You look like you could be my sibling." She says quietly as they march towards the city gates, getting some glances from the villagers, though likely not as many if Harnel had been in his true form.
Cessie gives him an odd look. "I see, that's... odd." She replies as Harnel suddenly gets the urge to say the most secret hidden his subconscious is thinking about right now.
