I'm going to guess that #4 is the lie. You probably play something else, like the saxophone.
1. In my opinion, deer jerky is better than beef jerky.
2. In my opinion, there is only one true Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
3. In my opinion, Mountain Dew is better than Dr. Pepper.
4. In my opinion, Fallout: Equestria is better than the derivative work, Project Horizons.
@V: Actually, it's number three. Dr. Pepper reigns supreme among beverages. The other three pirates movies were running mostly on the impetus of the first and the power of Johnny Depp's personality.

I'm guessing #2. I don't know many people with strong feelings about Pirates of the Caribbean.
1. I joined an anime club for the first time this semester!
2. I was pleasantly surprised by my grades on my midterms!
3. A game I've been looking forward to is being released soon!
4. I'm having an enjoyable and relaxing weekend!
@v Hehe, thankfully, it's #3. No new Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, or Fire Emblem for me until 2013.

I think I'll be a cynic and go with #4, despite what appears to be evidence to the contrary.
1. I absolutely despise mangoes, much to the surprise of some of my family.
2. I do not know how to play the violin, although I would like to learn.
3. I like really spicy food.
4. I enjoy math, and have worked out math problems for fun.
@v Actually, it's the first one. I have nothing against mangoes.

I'm going with number 3, pretty much entirely because of sentence structure.
1. My home has neither power nor heat.
2. I find football to be profoundly boring.
3. My high school has more Nobel Prizes than Norway.
4. I have a beard in real life.
@V Close but no cigar. It's 3. Norway has 11 Nobels, my high school only has 9.
@V It's number 4 the cake only took me 2 days :p
If you are curious about the celebrity it's Jonathan Brandis, which was pretty sad as he was a nice kid.

1) I have never worn any green clothes, and never plan to.
2) I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies.
3) As a child, I once stuck a paperclip in an electrical outlet.
4) I have a cat.
EDIT: False, it's #1. I have exactly one green shirt, and it is comfortable. I do, in fact, have a cat. Didn't expect that.

I'm guessing it's #4 ("I have a cat") because #1 and #3 have so many details and #2 is unlikely.
Ok, these are mine: (one of them is a blatant lie, not merely a half-truth)
1. I think reindeer is really quite delicious. I have some reindeer soup almost every week. (Sorry santa!)
2. I think octopus is far more tasty than squid. I've only had squid once but I decided I don't like squid because it's so rubbery.
3. I think snails taste every bit as icky as they look like. Slimy, mushy... Never again... >.<
4. I think minke whale tastes a bit like beef, but it also tastes a bit like fish. I liked the taste but didn't quite like the texture. (giant sinews, or something...)
EDIT: Nope, it's not #2. I really do like octopus better than squid. I had squid in Kyoto, Japan at a traditional restaurant and well.. I really had to fight it down. The lie is #3. I have no idea what they taste like because I've never had snails and hopefully never will...
I'll go with #2 'cause no one likes octopi more than squid.
1. I am in high school
2. I am in college
3. I am afraid of heights
4. I am more comfortable in a canoe in white-water than in a sailboat.
@v the lie is #3, I have never had any fear of heights (much to my mother's distress) Sailboats are just creepy, one sudden gust of wind and you're in the drink, white-water canoeing you can at least control your line.

It's probably #4, just because it sounds ridiculous. It won't be 1 or 2; you wouldn't put up both of them if they weren't true.
1. I have calculus homework that I still need to do.
2. I tend to fall asleep on long road trips.
3. I regularly forget to eat breakfast.
4. I have recently read a good book.
@v No, that's true. I haven't even started it, actually.
The lie is #2; I have a hard time falling asleep on road trips, even when I want to.

@^ You mentioned England/English twice, so you're probably very interested in their culture, and you probably like their movies and music, too, so it's plausible that you can imitate an English accent. You have two items on your list that are related to traveling, so I'm guessing you really like traveling and that one of them is the lie. Based on the fact (or my assumption(?)) that Americans mostly travel within the US rather than abroad, I'm going to say that going to England is a dream of yours that hasn't come true just yet.
Speaking of traveling, I once...
1. peed out of a moving train in Finland
2. took "restricted articles" into Japan but wasn't caught
3. shocked an Italian airline worker by telling her I had una spada* in my bag
4. was escorted to the plane by a police officer at Heathrow, England
* A sword.
(I'm not a bad person, there's a perfectly good explanation for all of this )
I'm guessing that it might be 2, but who knows....
So, yes, number 4 was a lie: I'm a Marvel fan. If Stan Lee isn't given immortality, hopefully he'll become the god of superheroes, or comic books (or both).
1. I swam with a dolphin in Mexico
2. I've been to a Blue Man Group show
3. I didn't go to a single dance at my High School
4. One of my legs is shorter than the other
I'll guess #3. Even I, as someone who can't really dance and doesn't really care for big social functions, went to a few dances during my high school days.
1. I went to a school with school uniforms.
2. I think girls with frilled skirts are cute.
3. I used to play the piano.
4. I cry during sad movies, but only when I'm by myself.
@v It's #1. I'm afraid sometimes improbable is just improbable!

Time for me to assume the least obvious answer. It's either 2 or 4; you wouldn't make it the same one you just guessed, and the first one seems improbable enough that it's probably true. I'll go with #4.
1. I have a habit of highlighting things and just randomly clicking the mouse while I'm reading things on the internet.
2. I absolutely love bacon.
3. I play the bass for a local band
4. I am afraid of spiders; something my friends take advantage of.

I'm going to guess that the lie is number four. You'd have either camped out for only one day or for much longer than two, depending on which concert.
1. I have made avatars for four different people on this forum.
2. I used to have a Dovashy avatar.
3. I use Inkscape for all of my digital work.
4. I have never seen the full Avatar: The last Airbender series.
@V: By that logic, the one that should have been excluded is number three; it makes no mention of avatars. However, the untruth is number one. I've only made avatars for three people, if you count myself, plus unasked-for avatars of larger art for another person.
Spoiler
My very first digital avatar: Seapony Balmas. Dark Elf Bard: My coloration, and the second, tweaked according to her preferred coloration. Probably the first image that made me say, "Okay, I can do this." ShadowFireLance: Demon pony. Up to this point, it was the most complex, and had the most parts. Demon wings, by the way, are the devil to put together. Not actually a request by anyone, though it was prompted by an IRC chat. It's a cybernetic fox. This is an avvie sized version of a much larger image, and it's the most complex I've ever made, with 92 objects, ten layers, shading, and around four hours of work. Unclaimed.

I'll guess #4. It already isn't like the others on that list!
@^ Okay, I'll admit the whole "Avatar = avatar" thing went over my head the first time.
1. I have over 350 hours logged on Audiosurf. @_@
2. My first experience with Audiosurf involved playing it with icepacks on my face after getting my wisdom teeth removed.
3. My most played song on Audiosurf is "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari" by Supercell.
4. My most played artist on Audiosurf is Morning Musume.
@v #3, actually. I was just happy to have something I could do with ice on my face at the time!

I'll say #2, solely due to the fact that I have no idea what inkscape is.
I have never received a traffic ticket
I received new glasses today
I know American Sign Language
I have a brother 18 years older than me
Edit: Incorrect! Tis #4; I am not my brother, so I do not have a brother 18 years older than me. (I'm 18 years older than him)
I do know ASL, albeit I'm not fluent, yet, and have found it easier for me to learn than was Spanish.
