Flaming Hawt Human Sniper Reinholdt undeadtimes sitting on his rock. This time, however, he has a stuffed parrot on his shoulder. Said parrot actually came from last year's Thanksmas (getting time for the new one). It was supposed to be a gift for Ermine. But... Rein sort of left it in his hammerspace and forgot about it and then Ermine disappeared and it died. So Rein got it stuffed.

Over the head of this parrot, is a... I want to say human skull. See Reinholdt had this brilliant idea and used his Breath of Ulthalael time powers to reach back in time and grab Ebil Nate who disappeared on him for some reason. Ebil Nate is a talking skeletal head who likes to believe herself Evil Incarnate. Really, her name's just Kristin and she's grumpy from being on an alien ship for thousands of years with no company.

And Reinholdt is eating fruit. Very delicious looking fruit. Has a whole basket full of fruit. Omnomnom.

The courier knocks, having diverted himself from his original destination to reply to somebody that is certainly there. He's holding the letters addressed to Tito Applehill and Lily Applehill.

"We breed wolves. There are big wolf pens outside Underside Colony. I've always been taught dogs are what humans made of wolves because they can't handle them properly." It explains why Dipsnig gets so cranky when people call his wolves dogs. "But it's silly. Dogs are nice."

Yep! That's dead-on description of Ebil Nate! She's an evil talking skull representing the underrepresented skeletal undead population in the Nexus! And she likes to scream and howl at everything! And bite people's fingers! And stab people...okay, so she has no arms to stab anyone, what of it (she'll bite your legs off instead). And threaten to kill everyone she encounters or has encountered in the past.

She has major issues. Like being a glum Gus! And grumpy! And violent! And antisocial! Her mother never hugged her. And she was cooped up in an dirty, abandoned alien ship for a century or so. I don't blame her for being feisty and mean all of the time! And I do mean all of the time!

Ebil Nate watches Rein eat tasty, tasty fruit! Personally, she believes that human flesh and brains are so much more flavorful, but she's literally full of hot air. And a stuffed parrot, but that's a fairly new development!

"Mwahahaha! Reinholdt you ignorant, mortal bag of flesh and bone! You have made the mistake of bringing me to your home! To your home with your friends! Your friends that you care about!"

"When I get down from here, I'll burn each and every one of these wooden cabins to the ground with everyone you care about locked inside! I hope you can understand." He does sound genuinely apologetic, but equally adamant that he can't give the to Pansy.

"Oh, puppies don't count as being small dogs because they'll get bigger. Would an otter do?" Not that otters are anything like dogs, but Natalie doesn't have a dog shape but she does have an otter shape.

Brinika falls silent and fiddles with the bits they got from the forest a little. "I'm not sure what I should make next. Maybe we should try to make a dragon."

"OK. That sounds cool." Though Natalie has no idea how to make a dragon from the sticks and nuts they've gathered from the forest.

"If we want to make a dragon, I think we need some better materials."

"Probably. There's boxed sets that you can buy, containing a dragon that needs assembly and painting made of plastic. Would that count?" Not that Natalie actually has one; she's just thinking about it.

"Then you can return these letters to their sender. I am not allowing my children to open strange mail." Pansy says, not sounding apologetic at all. And without ceremony, she'll attempt to shut the door in the courier's face.
