Well, yeah, me, Bad, Zeone, and all three of Team Maaya signed up. So, six of us. I don't know if combining all five of you into one 'group' is the best idea is all I'm saying.

Alright, you should have all got my PM. Let's get to brainstorming. I'll start us off

I had some notes for the use of my own filler arc, Quest for the Lost Princesses: Soragakure the Movie, if you want to try that.

Hell, maybe we can play a silly all-jounin game where we travel through time to pivotal moments in the Naruto series and punch characters in the face at the most tension-breaking opportunities. "Itachi, I finally found you and now, in vengeance of our clan, I will-!" and then Houshi screams, runs down the hallway and swings at Itachi for no reason

That Harvest Moon game where we each try to hook up a girl with the protag could be pretty lulzy. That or we could do a timeskip universe where one of has succumbed to temptation and joined one of the Big Bads of the universe.

Hmm... Bad's leaning silly, Ces is thinking serious-like, and Jacior and Rion are thinking long term. Good to see there's ideas! Okay, I'm thinking we should start a little silly and non-canon just so I can get a grasp of everyone without too much pressure to maintain consistency. THEN we'll steer around to being more serious. However, let's put off that debate for now and keep the ideas rolling, eh?

Bad, would you want any particular Harvest Moon towns? I was 8 when i last played Harvest Moon so I may need to brush up on some things if that's the case. Maybe.... maybe a parallel universe where everyone's just in a simple farmtown, replacing characters where appropriate. Amon calls dibs on spring goddess!

Ooh, here's another one... Oh wait, no. I couldn't set it in the Persona 4 universe - it would assume people had played Persona 4! Well, maybe... Yeah, the TV Murder Cases, you never know, could work - Momo, Amon and the gang find themselves acting as Personas through their users. Weird enough for you?

Cespenar, I guess the 'saving Amon' thing is a result of me not being able to play her properly anymore as an NPC, so I thank you for the consideration. Who would be the chuunin in this team then? You'd all be at the same level either way, unless there's a specific reason for it being otherwise

Edit: Ninja'd my Bad, whaddya know. Yousuke does seem a very 'Chuunin' type character.

Hmm, what sort of curse would I give Amon then... Beauty and the Beast? *snort-laugh*

Oh, I got one - Road to Sky-Ninja. Like that movie but with our characters, where everyone's personalities switch around a bit. Maybe Youki's the one that walked out or Cybele's very touchy-feely (maybe the curse is altered or nonexistant), or Momo's a mute-and-brute type, or Yousuke dresses like a maid on his own time

If we did that, who wants to be normal and who wants to be alternate versions of their characters?

I would recommend just Persona 4. It's a huge step up in every way - forget mechanics, it has characters who, not only do I not want to punch in the face, but also taught me vital lessons in empathy and oneness with my fellow man. Persona 3 made me wish one of the characters would take the image of using their 'evoker' to its natural conclusion. If you've ever seen how they use their powers in that game, you might be getting a dark sort of laughter right now

Doesn't matter who'd be the Chuunin, though, really. If Bad wants it, he might as well take it. I just thought it'd be a good way to let the two teams mingle. Also, the idea of Amon being Sasuke is amusing.

Well, in my opinion Yousuke would make a good Chuunin because so far he has the most experience leading a team, as well as experience dealing with foreign teams, probably the most dedicated to the village as a whole due to his backstory, has a relatively diverse skillset, is quite literally a genius with a lineage and pedigree that can be traced back for generations, and finally he's kind of good at what he does.

The two teams will be mingling, don't worry. No thoughts on my proposed idea(s) at all? I'm quite fond of Road to Sky-Ninja actually - what would be everyone's ticks if we were in that alternate world and who would like to play themselves being sucked through to the other world?

That should be a seperate brainstorm: What's everyone's angle on a topsy-turvy world?

TV Assassin Cases. Everyone plays a civilian in the japanese countryside who gains powers of their Naruto characters and more via Persona. I'll play the villain, derp. Knowledge of Persona 4 is not at all necessary but is recommended for unrelated reasons of awesome

Domain of Gold. The Evil King Midas can turn anything he touches to gold! Can our heroes stop him before he turns EVERYTHING INTO GOLD!? Based on a One Piece game I made before the guys who made OP d20 stole my ideas for a system

Ninja Special: PRANK WAR! The genin we all know and love get themselves in a tiff that they see only one way to resolve; whoever cries 'surrender' loses, as they nonviolently prank each other into submission. May be divided into teams of, say, two, for these proceedings. Who'd like to prank who?

Bad, what would you like to do in the Harvest Moon case? Perhaps I can accommodate? Play one of the people in town - a specific person or what?

In the case of teh 4-genin, 1-chuunin team, Bad, would you be playing Yousuke as more mature.

I kind of want Amon to have a lover in some offworld tale - you know, while we're allowed to be completely unrealistic

Ninja Beach ~~Volleyball~~ Adventures: Prank War. Sorry, had to get one more in. Purely because EVERY anime has a stupid non-canon beash party episode

Actually, a lot are canon actually. Mainly in the more comedic ones. Such as Fairytail.

Anyway, Trace, you're right I really didn't need the Warrior archetype. So, that's one thing I'm changing for sure and I still get to use a fullblade. The feat I took as my occupation feat is the same you get from the Taijutsu Expert archetype.

Fancy that... a quick change and BAM! Moar skeelz.

Don't worry, folks, I intend to get us serious soon enough. I just figured, since I know I'll screw up early on I might as well have something fairly silly so there's only so bad I can mess us up

I guess if you all really want to get serious early on, we'll dive right in. Though it will take more prep time - hell, we could probably host a silly IC in the time it would take me to pull together something serious just to pass the time. I do like to overprepare, after all.

Plus I figured some non-canon stuff would do well to cleanse the pallet of any bad feelings about the last game, and let me get an idea of our pace.

How about serious-filler, just so I can get into it quick with a little less stress for everyone before we bring it around to awesomeville?

I've been talking with Trace about things. Considering the group is still interested in a serious-style RP, and that Trace would rather do something silly and fun: I've decided to offer to return to running both teams.

If I return, then the teams will no longer be separate, and I won't pick up exactly where I left off. Team Maaya, unfortunately, will be fast forwarded two weeks to allow them to catch up to Team Cybele's timeline. It's assumed that they discovered the embezzler(the second Blackburn brother), and that they've been on a series of D or lower ranked missions. They'll get 6535 XP from this, which should level them up and put them at 18935--close to level 7.

Both teams would be rolled together into one timeline, and the game would start over one day after the Scarlet Devil Mansion's incident. Team Cybele will be just waking up, and Team Maaya will be just arriving at the SDM after being dispatched by Central to recover the second team.

If you guys would like to continue things, then my offer to do so is there. Not that Trace is going to step aside, as she still fully intends to run her own adventure.

There you have it folks. I'm going to run a silly or serious-but-non-canon IC to keep everyone interested while ZN gets some time to regain his wits. After that, when he's built up some speed, we'll return to the previous arrangement and I'll gladly surrender my DM title; this rearrangement can come at any moment in time that ZN feels the spark as I will not refuse him his old authority. Or indeed the moment where we collectively get sick of my fumbling and go beg at Zero's feet for his immediate return, I suppose

So how about it, everyone? I function better as a player than a DM, which is why I was nervous about picking up where ZN left off - he's the only one that can really do that material justice, after all

EDIT: The two people who should probably never meet will. ((IE: Manabu and Amon))

Though, I see chaos with the teams meeting, if the IC's are anythign to go by
