It's the boss and he's surrounded by ogres AND Natalia just missed badly (of course she takes the title of Least Valuable Player again), we can't beat these orcs and the ones who just showed up.
Sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush. Here you go. I'll be back in a few hours.
Knowledge: [roll0]
*Phew* Just made it. At least something good...
You know that those two are not normal Ogres, but Ogre mages. Powerful spellcasters who are greedy, selfish, and often lead Ogrs. They rarely work together.
Aw, I forgot you were rolling for it. :( I thought i was going to get minimum crit damage. 4 is better than it could have been, I suppose!
Yeah, you got lucky there. And so did I, I almost had to kill my own DMPC! And I couldn't bring myself to power attack with him to reduce hit hit chance. Had it it, Valen would have been dead, -11HP!
What the group needs is going to me some magical trickery, too bad Miriam used her obscurring mist already. Maybe Shiny can whip something up.
Edit: Man, Kurt really didn't roll well for damage there did he?
Anyway, I think it'd be a good idea to cover a retreat, I don't know if we would even spend the time killing that Orc.
Man, this has been a bit rougher day for our party.
Firstly, party almost eaten by a Roc, then Mithril almost choked to death, then both Valen and Kurt are put near death while we are force to run with our tails between our legs....bad day all around...
Hmm... Technically during Valens turn he downed the Orc veteran with his first attack and could have 5' stepped to hit the stunned one with his other attack ending the melee. I should have paid more attention.
Oh well, I like the cinematics of it better anyway.
You're saying it's an illusion? Could be, but that means anyone who made the spot check failed the Will save. Also, even if it's an illusion we're still fighting someone who's more intense than your average Orc.

Well, technically it would have to be interacted with if it were an illusion for a Will Save. A spot check doesn't fit and qualify as interaction.
Edit: And if it was an illusion, this would be one of those checks I rolled in secret.
Dammit, I should have attacked that orc. Then he'd be down, and I'd have done something useful this fight. And I don't even have my caltrops anymore...Though I think I have a second bag, still!
Paintball was fun, but it's really not my thing. Also, someone kept hitting me in my upper thighs. I got hit in the crotch twice and there are angry red bruises and welts all over my upper thighs. It already hurts to walk and this is going to hurt so much tomorrow.
Admiral, if Mithril's attack doesn't kill the orc, then can you hold your action for Natalia to try and finish it off?
run read the IC. If natalia spends even one second trying to loot the bodies, Miriam will pull her by her short hair and give a lecture on greed.
I say: try to finish the orcs and put some space between us and see what they do. Shiny can even taunt them. Well may be not.
If we could take out the 3 normal orcs, it would thin the warriors count even more which would help Linwood. I also would like to send a message to the hooded one.
The one thing I do not understand is why the hooded one came out. Hierarchy wise, there is the ORc leader, The ORc priest (the one that pulls people eyes) and the Hooded man. Why would they send the advisor who is actually running the show from the shadows?
