We could always offer up Luum. Who wouldn't want a talking pit droid? They're the new pink, or whatever. Plus, he's new to the group we don't have much of an attachment to him. And if we would keep him there's the feeding and taking care of him. What does a pit droid need for food? Oil? Scrap metal? That stuff costs credits, credits we don't have. Besides, maybe the Empress sent him to kill us all and we don't know it.

He doesn't need much, just a bit of scrap. He could even ration himself if it meant not being sold into slavery. Maybe he could eat every other day. Plus he's harmless he doesn't even have a weapon. Not much of a threat to the group with grace around! and and I'm sure the potential investment he offers is far greater than what you could sell him for now.
