Xander also doesn't mind betting, so you could probably get some friendly wagers going with him at some point, He doesn't go out of his way to find bets, or gamble, but doesn't mind it if the situation presents itself.

Ah, but there we have an issue. Tarith will bet if he knows he is going to win, and I suspect that Xander would be smart enough to recognize that.

If we go with the seal, I think we should assume that we have an IC conversation as to what to buy, as I don't know how much money we would get from selling Tarith's inventory.

Lets see what would Dantie ask for...Wand chamber in mace. And wand of Wraithstrike sound good for now. Give the rest of the money back to him so that when he gets to town he can look around. And a spell component pouch. Also the wand that is keen but for bludegoning weapons.

Dantie... I don't think you really need a wand of wraithstrike to hit. You attack bonus is going to be high enough to make it a waste of money. Also, you can't make the dc 20 umd check.

You are a divine caster, so you can use divine wands, and Xander and Tarith are arcane casters allowing them to use arcane wands, but using the other style of wands forces a UMD check, as does using scrolls.

Actually, I am not entirely sure, but Tarith might need to Umd for both divine and arcane effects, but, well, his umd is auto success, so no worries.

So, Dantie, you could get divine spells in a wand, and use it, but wraithstrike is arcane.

The Ritual requires arcane casters, So Tarith your a viable target to help Xander, Dantie however is not, since he is a Divine caster.

Xander is going to talk to Anzaril, and Silas for help as they are the only other arcane casters we know. We can also teleport in and out until the ritual is finished, so Xander is going to attempt to arrange regular teleports with Silas, so Xander and Silas can do there school business, and everyone else can go back and forth till we are done. (Xander can't cast spells on days he performs the ritual, and I take 1d4 str, and 1d4 con each time I try it, that has to heal naturally. 1 point a day, or 2 points with total bed rest. Xander has 11 str, and 14 con.)

Tarith isn't much of an arcane caster, and has no ranks in the relevant skills. Just as a warning. Getting level 4 spells by level 20 does not make for a powerful character.

It just requires arcane casters to raise Xanders modifier for the roll, its a caster lvl check, going to use Tarith, Anzaril, and Silas, for a +15 to Xander's roll VS what the DC ends at after the modifications.

As a warning, Tarith's caster level is 6, not 13. It is treated as a 13 when casting spells, courtesy of the master spellthief feat however. If you give him a CL check that is not based on him casting a spell, he is a 6. If you check the spells he casts, he is a 13.

That's what I was waiting for, Xander'sresponse. Dantie and Jacob could participate, but they would not grant the extra bonus. Also, everyone gets the damage, not just Xander. He just gets extra debuffs on top of that.

ah, well, how helpful is cl 6 for this ritual?

Xander does the CL check. You give him a +1 bonus to the check, for being an arcanist. You lose 1d4 str and con damage, which must be healed naturally. Xander chooses the days and hour to perform the ritual (a total of 4 sessions). Dantie may be present, and attempt to partake on the ritual and put some of his spells in, but every modification to the original ritual adds the CL difficulty by +1.

So... Better solution: Bring out Sila's stock of students, and use them. 1d4 con and str damage is most of his str and con, being 12 and 8 respectively(I used 32 pb, as my rolls always seem to be epic fails)

That could be a solution, yes. Also, remember that the more people involved, the bigger chances of breaking the seal. And i doubt Silas' students will want to stay in swan's rest, seeing as they come from noble families in Justcrown. Also, 1st level wizards (5th level at most), won't have that good strength and constitution. Xander needs to decide who participates on the ritual from session 1, once participants are decided, their number and who they are cannot change.

Technically, their average str and con should be higher than Tarith's STR and CON, as 3d6 has a higher average than 9.

You do raise a good point. Let's assume Silas has, at best 6 pupils. Rolling their scores here wouldn't be a bad idea.

The top right one isn't that bad. the 5 would be in CHA, if the character is a wizard or fighter, in wis for a sorc, and in int for a cleric. No worries.
You could put it in str as well for any caster, but somewhat low. Now, to make things really interesting, take the pathetic flaw on that stat. Welcome to min-maxing.

Was going to look to see if the character that is on the front lines has the worst str and con in the party(has the best Dex, at least he really really should)

Back when I got everything dispelled I made the new sheet and wrote what spell did what nice and neat so I did not get confused and annoyed again. Tarith Their is a spell called Weapon of Impact that I would like to get a wand for with the wand chamber so that bam crits are now 18-20.

Dantie... You really don't want to get a wand of weapon of impact, as it sets you pack over 10k gold. If you really want better criticals, just memorize it. Wands are for effects that you need occasionally, not effects that you need all the time.

That is I believe a 4th or 3rd level slot, very useful spells in that level that are more useful. But if you say so. Then I really have nothing needed from the place saying every time I ask for something I am told to much or not useful.`Well off to work I go.
