Okay, a little strategy from my perspective...

I'd sorta built Paavo with the idea of boosting Fjodin's AC to tank the boss encounters, via Iron Guard's Glare and Path of the Vigilant Defender. I hadn't really envisioned him as a frontline tank himself. So, while i have decent AC, my to-hit debuff doesn't apply to attacks on me, which means I'm expecting for Andariel to whack me rather easily. I'm also expecting that a full-round attack from her will probably kill the target each round if the attacks hit.... which means we should probably focus on making sure she doesn't hit us.


Sooooo... I'm basically planning on hiding behind Gerrin's Astral Construct, and praying she attacks him and not me. I think we should do anything we can to boost his AC. I think that's mainly Gerrin's "Power Word Armor" or whatever it is, but if anyone else has something to chip in I think it's probably worth it.

No, but we've never faced an Act-end boss either.

Our debuffs worked well on The Smith though, so it's probably the best plan to roll with.

I'm also expecting some Fallen Shamans and Fallen mooks as well, so this should be an unholy mutha of a fight.

Preparations complete, our heroes rush down the darkened stairs to face whatever may be facing below.

And if you were looking for the source of what is plaguing these lands, it seems like you have come to the right place. Every crack of the stones below your feet is filled with putrefying blood, congealing in pools where the floor droops, which are still being resupplied with liquid seeping from fresh corpses. The scene is illuminated by a series of black-smoking torches lining the walls, not even shrouding the carnage with darkness.

You have barely finished taking in the horrifying scenery when you notice the rush of demons coming towards you from a side chamber.

Eh... it costs me nothing, lowers their AC and Ref save, and provides insurance against them un-cowering. And yeah, constructs are immune.

X13 is also a wall. Going to assume that 5' step was supposed to be southwest, so you can reach the correct enemy.

I don't really get it. Are the maps not clear? Is it your device that has display issues? This is happening very consistently.
