Rust generally means decay or deterioration, for most people. Rust is evidently the protagonist of the prequel, where we see him fqll in love in a teenage queen. I'd say 17 or 18 base. Which means now 19 or 20 with the natural stat increases from leveling up; he's been stripped of items.

Yep. He could definitely escape from a Still Teleport from spell mastery, provided he's level twelve or higher.

Now I am curious to what other spells he took if he indeed followed this route of crazy preparedness...

Or he could have spent his third stat boost point in some stat other than Intelligence for some reason. I don't know why he'd do that, though.

I'm not optimistic about Miles here. Kago feels like it's going to whatever negative afterlife there is in this universe, and there's bound to be death along the way. There's probably some way out if we're really lucky, but I'm not counting on it.

Anyway... It can still be done because I remembered that Wizard's get a bonus feat at level ten which they can spend on Spell Mastery. With the acquisition of fifth level spells at level nine, he could have taken it with Teleport among other things and then prepared a Still Teleport to escape at the last moment.

Now, that's what I want to happen, but it probably won't.
Of course, if he's not level eleven yet, he's got to have some other way out of this.

...Huh. I could've sworn Spell Mastery only allowed 1st level spells. Maybe that was pre-errata.

Teleport does not have a Somatic component, and so wouldn't need a Still feat.

You have no need to apologize. You said the update would be up tomorrow and its still tomorrow. You said "hopefully" in the morning, but thats not a guarentee. Stop worrying about these things.
