And for some reason, ever since I first got Black Crusade I can never stop picturing the Nurglite tail as the space marine having the porportional equivalent of a cement truck barrel attached to his spine.
Hey Emp. Ing. Glad to see the PC is rocking along.
@Henry
You can go "shopping" if you want for other things but its still the same market and your infamy has not increased so you can't search for psychic hoods until you get to pastures new.

Edit: Found one. Although, as before, I am explicitly looking for someone who is at least reasonably cooperative. Finding someone who can read them but isn't willing to help is useless.

So...can anyone get me up to speed as to what's going on?
Shouldn't take much time to read through the IC thread. Just going with DrK's posts should do it nicely.
People running around.
Vul wanting a staff of change, finding a guy who doesn't want it to give it to him, storming the guy's temple and demanding it, fight breaks out, guy escapes and psyker gets possessed by a lord of change who sends vul on a quest for some ritual in exchange for something else. Who knows.
Finds sage on planet who LoC send Vul to. Vul demands ritual, fight breaks out, turns out to be powerful psyker. Chaos and death ensues.
People going to some pit with Vul carrying a lot of books. Where we are now.

If it gets us into another fight with an awfully dangerous foe you should reconsider Vul's tactics. xD

Also, Watup, your description of events leaves out the latest bit. Vul and Alicia agreed to show up at a certain place in three days to head out and get started on the system's corruption. Vul couldn't read the books but managed to find someone who could. He tried to lie to Vul and buy the books under false pretenses, but he rolled poorly on deception and Vul saw through it. So Vul relatively unsubtly threatened to go all Darth Vader on his ass if he didn't cooperate (the intimidate roll). He got scared, and is spilling the beans.

I'll see if Farius would be able to find a skeletal petrification treatment and someplace/someone proficient enough to complete it under 3 days. I'll test for the item and for time. If it's a success and the time's under 3 days Farius will go for it.
Skeletal Petrication (-10 rare, +10 single, +10 trade knife = +10) (1d100)[92] vs 41
Time, minimum 1: (2d10-9)[-1]

Ing should really put the advances in order, it was a little tricky trying to see how he got aligned at first glance.

Legion Plasma Pistol (Best) - missing +10 from somewhere, I believe.
Legion Power Sword - gotten with -10
Plasma Cannon (Best) - missing +10 from somewhere, I believe.
Helmet Augmentations (Good) - gotten with -10
It looks like he's adding +20. Too used to Rogue Trader acquisition rules?

A good few hours. And then a good few hours lurking around in his shop while he ploughed through the pile to find the good ones. Probably about 12 hours in total.

Noted. So, I still have some time left to do other stuff. Also, my WP is back up to 54. In 3 hours it will be normal.
Also, Ing, to me it looks like you have more -10 acquisitions than allowed. You get the same number as your infamy bonus, so that's 3, plus one for the scenario, so that's 4. I count 7 there, so where are the other 3 from? Also, your selection is odd. Why would you choose weapons you can't use in your Terminator armor, like the plasma pistol and cannon?

I am aware. So right now i've reset to two acquisitions (you can get multiple items for one acquisition if you take lesser rarity)
To be perfectly honest I don't see myself needing Terminator Armor all that much.
Also, how should I make an introduction? And I still don't know what's going on D:
Good.
Assuming they're the same item, then yeah.
Depends. If you're going for ranged combat and don't plan to be in melee much, the extra armor can be useful, as can the ability to wield heavy weapons in one hand.
You're apparently going to be joining us on the ship that will be taking us from the planet in three IC days.
I reccomend just reading the IC thread if what Watup and I wrote isn't enough. It's only 6 pages at the moment.
Also, whatever happens in the shop, Vul is going to go and look for a Vortex Pendant and a set of Shimmering Robes after he's done with the sage.
(1d100)[13] vs. 21 for Vortex Pendant
(1d100)[55] vs. 21 for Shimmering Robes

Also since I have two forcefields, i'm assuming the way it works is: I benefit from the better one until that overloads, then I benefit from the second one. Never both at the same time.

That's chain bandoliers, not careful maintenance.
And yes.
Current equipment list:
Conversion field (-30 extremely rare, +10 single = -20) - you're missing +10 from somewhere, like poor quality, or you've got to trade something for it.
You can make the legion heavy flamer good craftmanship.
Legion Terminator Armor (-30 extremely rare[with ancient warrior], +10 single = -20) - you're missing +10 from somewhere, like poor quality, or you've got to trade something for it.
Reaper Autocannon (-30 extremely rare, +10 single = -20) - you're missing +10 from somewhere, like poor quality, or you've got to trade something for it.
Can only trade for one item: the reaper, conversion field or the terminator.
That second power armor roll (which I assume is for Terminator armor) is Chain Bandoliers, not Careful Maintenance, and the first one (7) is Chain Loinguard, btw.
