I'm just happy to get anything with the 10 free summon tickets - a Lancer Artoria Alter, specifically. I've accepted the mentality of working within my means, and if I get a SR or SSR at some point then all the better.

After getting Nero with the free SR, now I just need an Archer to cover the main six classes. I've elected Euryale tentatively to that position with the idea that I could find situational use her Charm down the road even when I get a better Archer candidate later, but Alter and her share several of the same ascension requirements which is... troubling.

I mean, I have Arash, but he's mostly there unwillingly.

The spawns cap at 100%, so once you MLB the shop CEs the gacha ones are the only thing that helps.

I was wondering that myself, why is it more beneficial than just flatly increasing coin drops?

The CEs give a chance that enemies of that type will generate an additional enemy. So if you bring Hero Ely-chan's Adventure to a round that normally has three homunculi, it will usually have four instead. Bringing the MLB version will always give you six. Bringing it to a fight with bugs will do nothing - it won't generate bonus monsters if there are none of that type to begin with. Maximum bonus is +100%.

Twice as many enemies means twice the drops. And it stacks multiplicatively with the flat drop bonuses - if you have twice as many monsters dropping twice the coins, you're getting 4x drops. And the spawn CEs can be purchased from the shop instead of lucked into from the gacha.

The coins aren't guaranteed to drop (I think it's something around 65% for a given drop), so increasing the number of enemy spawns increases the chance of coins dropping, which then stacks with the coin drop CEs.

Am I better off going 3 that boost drop chance and 3 that make extra enemies? Something in between?

The best case is to MLB the shop CEs - the spawn bonus maxes out at 100%, so you can get the whole bonus with one CE slot. Past that, use as many drop bonuses as you can. If you don't have it MLB yet, drop bonuses are probably a better value for the slot until you have a bonus of +3 or greater. Make sure you're using the right CEs for the mission! Bringing a +copper CE to a mission that only drops silver is a waste.

Same here. I shuffled things around a couple of times in case it was just a certain Servant which was bugged, but to no avail.

Lots of people bringing it up on the official FB and twitter pages too, so it'll be fixed soon and we'll hopefully get apologems and an extension of the event to make up for it.

Meanwhile I still have coin farming to do.

I haven't done much farming this event. Mostly remained in the bronze coin node, making sure I got all the embers and Fous.

I'll probably just make sure I have all the golden Fous, maybe some rare mats alongside if I feel like it.

Well, it was a long road, but I put in one more 10-pull yesterday and pulled both Merlin and Salter. I kind of wanted to take a chance on Cleopatra as well, but I'm out of SQ and, I suspect, luck.

I still haven't maxed out Waver's skills, though, so I'm going to be farming those caster gems for quite a while.

I personally hate silver coin farming. Waves of berserkers with a big dragon in the middle is rough. Assassins die fast to the berserkers but everyone else cant kill the dragon without losing a ton of health. Tried jalter+jack but jalter doesnt have the hp to tank dragon hits. And jack while being a blender cant output enough damage to the dragon before jalter loses half or more of her already lackluster hp.
Copper and gold farming is fine though.

What's your +NP lineup like? A single target NP should 1 shot the dragon regardless.

I rolled to get event CEs, especially for the gold coins. Three tickets later, I had Cleopatra. That was unexpected. 0_0

Incidentally, I did not get gold coin CEs.

What was the theme to the Da Vinci challenge? Is it just that they're bishonen? Not sure I'd count Edison in on that.

It's very weird, it seems to mostly be bishy/muscly guys...and then there's Ushiwakamaru. Saberlot and Ridertoki can make short work of most of the nodes though.
