This creature appears much as a willowy, humanoid-shaped Astral Construct except that lines of crystal branch out in strange-patterns all about its body. Its eyes are permanently closed though a great stone is imbedded within its broad forehead, giving the apperance of a third eye. All the crystalline veins flow out from this central point. From its fingers it may extend retractible claws of transparent crystal that glow with a deadly light.
Craillput are the inevitable hunters of beings who take control of other's minds and force them to break laws in their stead. Fashioned of ectoplasm brought from the Astral Plane, and reinforced with deepcrystal programmed with the knowledge of the Laws, Craillputs have a natural affinity for thought.
Craillputs are also known to briefly band together with Maruts to bring justice to Elan law breakers.
A craillput tends to sense about for those under the influence of mental coersion, following the mental connection back to the originator. They will then use Dimensional Anchor to keep them from teleporting away and wrenching away their control by use of Dispel Psionics or Psychic Containment. It will then offer to bring them for judgement quietly. If they resist it will manifest Schism and then attack, striving to capture its victim and learning of its misdeeds with each blow.
A craillput has normally manifested Astral Seed sometime before any encounter so that even if it is destroyed it will return later to finish the job.
A craillput's natural weapons, as well as any weapon it wields, are treated as lawful-aligned for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. A craillput can focus psionic energy into its blows as a free action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity, dealing 2d6 extra damage to creatures with an intelligence score.
Craillput gain 1 bonus power point.
Pierce the Truth (Ps):
Each time a craillput deals damage it may take advantage of its opponent's moment of weakness from the shock of pain to seek out a single answer from its mind as the Mind Probe power.
Prison of the Mind (Ps):
Once per day, and only when a craillput has for certain been able to prove his quarrey is guilty of its crime and strict punishment required, it will doom them to a prison of their own making. They must succeed on a DC 19 will save or be affected as by the Microcosm power, except those under 100 HP still can make a save. A second use of this ability negates the affect. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Sense the Mastermind (Su)
: A craillput automatically senses when a creature is under the affects of mental influence, such as a compulsion or charm affect, out to 60 feet. As long as the Craillput maintains concentration, and the mental affect persists, they may follow the link in a straight line to the mental intruder, sensing the approximate distance.
Craillputs can communicate telepathically with any creature within 120 feet that has an Intelligence score. The creature can respond to the Craillput if it wishes - no common language is needed.
