Ongoing Games (In-Character)Play-by-post games are going on in this forum as we speak (well, read). All threads on this board are actual games, so please, only post on a thread if you are a player of that game.
Nick looks at the pit sadly. "Should we really leave the body behind though? I'd like to save him if we could, but if nothing else, leaving the body behind may cause trouble in the future."
(ooc- Nick has no way of looking into the pit so he has no idea if he's dead or not, only going off 'there is a spike in him')
As the party tries to decide what to do about Feng's sudden death, the ringing noise from down the corridor gets louder. You hear loud shouts and those with darkvision see five black-robed men clustering around the archway opposite the one you all came in from.
Roll initiative.
Spoiler
The hallway is ten feet wide and twenty feet high. The pit runs the length of the hall, 100 feet, and takes up all buy a very small foot wide ledge on either side.

Once again, Melanthum finds himself with a suddenly dead comrade. This time, however, he simply sighs and shakes his head as he hears the approaching cultists. He shakes his head again, rolling his eyes to the ceiling.
You know, I really do hate cultists. Bad uniforms, bad taste, generally brainless, and they never seem to run out no matter how many you incinerate.

Sonny's grin was not a pleasant thing to behold. ""Sonny likes cultists. Nobody to miss them."

Well, em, the pit is 100 feet across... so the DC is 100. You could make it with a 95, but then you'd have to make the reflex save to grab the edge of the pit and climb over.

((I will be incommunicado for the next couple of days, til about Christmas. Feel free to NPC me if necessary. I am at the bottom of the Init, so if possible, my character will fly across the pit to the figures. If not, if there's an open Dimension Door (never played a high level caster so I don't know how that works, lol) he'll take that. If not, he'll try and get around the pit as fast as possible and attack.))

((Certainly seems like it, huh? A shame, too. This was the quickest-posting game I'd found on these forums.))
