Hector watches them float downwards. "Right then. Down, down we go. Where we might stop..." He also takes the plunge.

"Ahahaha! That was great! Good thing that didn't destroy us, or make us fall to a grizzly death." Vaasth is again filled with that child-like amusement he occasionally shows. He then looks around, scanning his environment with widened, strange eyes.

The room that Vaasth, and all those who follow him down, see, is not a place that has any right being at the bottom of the sea. It is a glass-walled chamber at least an eighth of a mile in length, full of grasses that grow up to your knees, and strange, gnarled looking trees. The plants within this chamber are not like any you have seen, looking more like kelp or some strange undersea life than any terrestrial vegetation. The leaves of the trees seem to blow in the wind, though there is not so much as a breeze in the room. Besides the alien forest, you see no other life. As you step out of the shaft, you see a sign engraved into the top of the door, proclaiming this room as part of the XETHIA GARDENS.

"Hel-lo. What have we here?" QB murmurs. He moves quietly away from the doorway and out into the Gardens, head craning as he tries to look in every direction at once. He holds up one hand toward the others, palm outward, hoping they'll hold where they are and stay quiet for a moment.
Irmaet the Black
Irmaet touches down a few moments later, followed by Mr Bones. He steps forwards into the gardens, and looks around in awe as he sees the feats of magic that produced the gardens so deep underwater.
Hector let out a low whistle. He generally didn't care for the outside world; in his mind, the natural world was full of annoyances and pests and things that impeded his research, such as things that might try to eat him. But he was impressed by the 'garden', none-the-less.
He looks around. "I'm rather surprised there is nothing that makes its home in such a lush area, but it is a nice change of pace for this place, not getting mauled the second we step through a door."
He gives the place only half his attention, the other half of his mind wondering how they created such a marvel underground/underwater.

Yes, thank goodness there were no bears in the shaft
