Blood Weeds are resilient, dark green plants with a reddish hue. Normally, they lay perfectly still, appearing as a thick stalk of fleshy vegetable matter ending in a large brightly colored three tipped flower. This flower exudes an intoxicating aroma that draws prey near. The stalk's base is attached to a lobe which is often partially buried, though if uncovered would reveal four thorny whiplike appendages. Should the need arise, the plant can use these appendages to scuttle about at surprising speed.
When prey does come close enough, the flower at the end will try to swalow the hapless creature. If the need arises, the plant will try to subdue its prey with its appendages or release a noxious, overwhelming smell.
They also have an unusually high body temperature which allows them to survive heats that would be intolerable to other lifeforms.
The plant is aware of it's surroundings by feeling the heat and pressure of it's environment.
Species Name: Sanzant - 22
Carnivore
They have long ears at the end of their tails. As cave dwellers their bodies are completely lack pigmentation. Their best senses are smell and hearing because they lack eyes and have very basic taste buds. They are small but strong and tend to roam in packs of three. They tend to trill and shriek to each other for communication.
They have gained eyes in recent generations. During summer their skin turns muddy brown and they lose weight. As it gets colder they eat more and bulk up, the darker skin is shed for a new white one.

Vespii are a species of small avians. Their sizes range from the smallest -6 inches long, 1 foot wingspan, and 3 inches high- to the largest -1 foot long, 2 foot wingspan, and 6 inches high. Their bodies are rather long, covered in feathers of almost any color save black and white, and they have two pairs of 3 taloned feet. The front pair is lightly longer then th back pair, so when they stand, they are looking upwards. Vespii are completely deaf, and thus make no noise.
The Blockies are a peaceful species which are omnivores (they eat meat and green stuff). They live mainly on grassland and in meadows, where they can run about freely. The species as no intelligent form of communication, but they understand each other with grunts and gestures. They are fairly fat creatures and are blue. They have eyes which come out on stalks from their head. They have 5 fingers and 1 thumb on each hand. They have 2 legs, but only 4 toes.

Skecsix are a race of intelligent creatures, they are blind and deaf and they do not "speak" in the traditional sense or make noises. However, they have a powerful sense of taste and smell which they use in conjunction to "view" the world around them in a combination of the sensations. Their language also comes from a combination of smells and tastes. Skecsix seem to be both mammalian and reptilian. They bear both the long snouts of mammals and the air-tasting tongue of reptiles. They seem somewhat like a cross between a weasel or a stoat and a Tegu and they have other traits of both types as well. They don't seem to have eyes, and like reptiles they have no ears. Their bodies are covered in scales, though they still grow fur in some places. They have powerful jaws and sharp teeth, and are mainly carnivorous. Skecsix have long tails like those of the Gentu, which are striped.

Caragens are carnivorous beings with four limbs, the hind legs have two toes at the front and back of their feet. They have a pair of batlike wings sprouting from their back which is covered by a tough shell. Their head resembles a komodo dragon's with larger teeth that curve back to keep prey gripped tightly and eyes comparable to a bird of prey's.

a type of moss, it grows on pretty much anything, and has several tentacles that strike out and sting victims, they're paralyzed, and dragged to the colony, where it is devoured by all the moss
For your name, how about the Creeping North (Creeping because... well that's sort of what moss does, it creeps about the world getting everywhere, and North because moss tends to grow on the North side of things)

Ok, now I have as well. I wonder when the EP will pick up considering we need atleast 10 points in anything to reach a stoneage level of understanding and we need to combine technologies in order to make things. Stone Tools require both stoneworking and woodcarving to make and so on. According to the rules site the level of understanding is in groups of 10. Which in turn means that we need brain levels that high.
Name: Xanven(s)
Description: Xanvens are primarily aquatic creatures. Possessing both gills and lungs, they can actually survive out of the water for a time, although they will dry out if they stay out too long. Having only two rudimentary 'arms' in the front, it pulls itself around when on land. When in the water, however, Xanvens are extremely fast and agile, their strong tails propelling them easily. With a mouth full of teeth, Xanvens are obviously predators.
