Reposting this request, because this thread is still far from having enough Tsukiko fanservice in it (like every other thread in existence, but this is the one where I can get away with asking for some).

Another one of Ninjamuffin's drawings with Sangwaan.
I tried a different shading method on this one. What do you guys think of it?
Spoiler
Considering I can actually see shading now, better :D
As I say to a lot of newbies (and had said to me when I started), use a lot more shading. If you have too much you can take it off fairly easily, not having enough just makes it look bad. Also, there are a lot of things that I can see that should probably have shading that don't have any.

Thanks.
Well, the way I do shading, it can't really be taken off that easily. I use the Burn tool, and starting with this one, I combine it with the Smudge tool to blend the strokes.
If you have any pointers on how to do it better, let me know.
And, to complete the Ninjamuffin Sangwaan trilogy, Miko and Sangwaan together.

There's your problem. Unless you're using certain colours, the burn tool is a P.O.S. for shading. Use the brush tool with a darker colour.
I live by the first three steps of this tutorial (and it's a pretty good guide for eyes in general), but for skin, use a solid brush to make the flats, then you can either use a solid brush to shade and then use a softer brush to blend, use a opacity brush for all the shading (the way I do it), or use a solid brush and then use blur/smudge to blend (the way I used to do it). Just for pete's sake, stay away from burn except with eyes and some special cases.
shoot...I'm late on 2 pin-up calenders. I'll work on them this weekend!
...after the Star Trek movie...
boy, I lied...
Ironically, it's getting harder to do these things now that I have a girlfrined...heh heh...
anyway, I'll try to squeeze one, or two, or three out sometime. But other then that please keep going at this, KerfuffleMach's getting some good coloring in

Ok, I'll try out the brush for shading.
Now, for coloring, I think the way I do it is pretty good. I make the lines, then put a white square over the whole thing on a lower layer. Then, on a layer between the white square and the lines, I use the bucket to fill in the areas. Once I have what colors I want, I use a filter called Minimum on the coloring layer. This pretty much takes everything on the layer and increases its size by the amount you choose. I leave it at 1 pixel. And that makes sure there are no gaps between the lines and the colors.

You can do it that way, but I prefer to use a brush. I think it's more accurate as well as building your tablet control. I coloured a lot of really messy lineart when I started though, so that's half the reason I do it. Megatokyo is great for making you learn how to cg...Srly.
Wonderful pictures, I must say... after that, I'm too stunned for words ;)
Say, what happened with the PM-list? Just dead, or was my request for being added and given a back-log missed? Just curious, judging by these pics, it would be a shame to miss any.

I'm n the list, and received nothing for over a month

I like the picture, but her face looks a bit weird in this one...
I thought the other one looked more weird, but maybe that's just me.
Liked both of them overall.

Husband: "I wasn't there. I was talking with my aide in my office."
Rounain: "Talking?"
Husband: "...Shut up."
I think after seeing this, anyone would like Tsukiko.

Hey, now that we've seen bedtime Tsukiko, I've got a request. Don't think it's been done yet, but could we get a sleepover-type scene with all the girls? A pillow fight would be awesome.

I whole heartedly support this idea.
